Well if today was doing the talking on the field then we are stuffed. A rather pathetic effort against Hamilton right from the start. They ran rings around us with nobody even getting close to them and when we did get the ball there was no urgency to our play. They had twelve shot to our zero in the first half and although there two goals were quite exceptional strikes if it wasn't for Stewart it could easily have been five or six nil at half time. Not sure where the lethargy came from but what we saw by the lack of fight in the team was unacceptable both on and off the pitch.

Genuinely can't argue with the last two posts. Guthrie is no upgrade on McIntosh. If he was a racehorse, he broke into nothing more than a trot today. Never worked their veteran defenders, zero effort.

Hamilton streets ahead, team should be ashamed

Since announcing they would step down ( BOD?s) only Mark Blount has left and he was replaced by Jim McLinden. It?s obvious to me that nobody local is interested so we are now in a very difficult position. I?m not actually sure where we go from here going forward. We are lucky Hewitson is still there or would would have no club IMO.

No excuses this Saturday please, - just 100% commitment from the players and the manager too, - indeed, - more of the John Rankin school of enthusiasm, - rather than the lack lustre, - couldn't give a damn attitude.

It's still just the summer holidays, - but Queens could lose the support of the fans for the rest of the season if they're not careful.

Murphy?s inability to change his over cautious approach will produce the same outcome as last season. The fact that he thinks everybody we play is a very good team is a major concern. If his team talks are as uninspiring as his post match comments then it is little wonder we are developing an inferiority complex.

Lyon & Guthrie doubts for the weekend. Just marvellous

We cant say fairer than they responded well after the calamity of last week. Yes, Peterhead may not set the league alight, - but there was much more oomph, - almost a swagger about the players, - whereas last week, - they looked like lost souls.

God knows what the problem was, - possibly McLindon's sudden departure felt like a death in the family? We will never know, - but yesterday was a breath of fresh air and with Hamilton and ICT losing, - we are very much in the mix.

Perhaps the manager needs to remember that a bad performance takes two to three hundred off the gate, - and a club the size of Queens can't afford that sort of loss, - especially on the first home game.

Great result at the weekend and going by other results it?s going to be one of those seasons when everyone can beat anyone.
Brilliant to see Hannah back in action he?s a massive player for us and will go on the bigger and better things I?m sure.

Not much happening on strengthening the squad since McLinden left. I wonder if Billy is tightening the strings.

It?s clear to see our squad is not strong enough and we have nothing on the bench to change games. With the inevitable injuries we need to strengthen otherwise we will not be competing at the top end of the table.

I have noticed Jim McLinden at a few games including last night since he quit the board. Must be supporting his lad who?s been on the bench. Shame he?s still not here TBH.

Although not being at our best today against Kelty Hearts as we struggled to maintain our tempo throughout the game we still won. I also have to say that Guthrie is looking like the real deal and is the link we have been missing for the last couple of seasons.

Guthrie had another good game on Saturday. He?s been a fantastic signing. Kennedy was my MOM though & yet another solid performance from Hannah. He really is a class act.
