I thought Peter's interview with Sandra was arguably his best since coming here.

He was honest and I felt real passion.

I also thought mentioning about the fan who fell ill at the end of the game was hugely important, as fans are the lifeblood of Queen of the South.

If we approach the away leg in the same manner being positive from the start then Queens can definitely win this tie.

That was a great opportunity to get promotion via the back door but that said it was a valiant effort at Stenny from the guys.

I've been critical at times of the players but no failures today. They dominated the game, similar to Tuesday, and will be disappointed not to go through. Thought Smith and Kennedy were great again.

Made Stenny look bang average (which in all honesty they probably are and just good at what they do)

Hopefully keep 6 or 7 of those players and sign a few decent additions
