That was a hard failure to watch but a failure it was staying in this league which costs the club over ?100k a season at least in lost revenue so where do we go from here? The manager's contract is up for this season and unless the club are simply saving money on wages the board should have a clear idea where they are going. If they are replacing Murphy then you would have thought that they have someone in mind and an appointment should be made as soon as possible for any new manager to build the squad of players that they want for the season ahead. Let's be positive and make the call now.
Murphy did have a decent squad of players but ultimately could not get them over the line with far to many draws and arguably too cautious an approach. To remain full time, as we are, will result in a similar financial loss again next season. Is there a manager out there who is better than Murphy in motivating players and can we afford him? This is the big question. I see there are a few suggesting McCall but I doubt that he would return to Queens after his previous stint and why has nobody snapped him up if he isn't considered to be burnt out.
I am getting very concerned about my club as we certainly can't remain full time making these losses and we may have only one more season to get out of this league or we become part time languishing in the lower leagues for years to come.

I was quite happy with the Peter Murphy appointment but in reality he would of lost his job much sooner at other clubs. His team has always seemed to lack real heart. We have been overly cautious and his post match interviews have rarely took responsibility.
The new manager is unfortunately going to have to work with a reduced budget but that didn't stop Stenny and Alloa from beating us or matching us. No team in the league were ever scared of us so that needs to change.
    Time for a fresh start.

Time to toughen up on the pitch IMO.

It?s going to be Nicky Clark by all accounts.

If so let?s get right behind him & his team.
