People may have missed Hugill's involvement in the goal.

I missed the match, so dunno how Hugill played - same or better?

I?d guess he played his part as MH kept him on - enjoyed watching that - more than once - well if you?ve waited decades, you do

Nombe was brilliant when he came on.

I never felt that we would lose that game.

Man of the match was ZJ. He was imperious today.

Just shows how today's Millers result affects the league table.
          Millers now 15th on 17pts - 13 games
3 wins 1 draw 2 losses in last 6 games
          Bringing 10pts out of a possible 18

          Then look at Port Vale
          Now in 21st on 13pts - 13 games
3 wins 2 draws 1 loss in last 6 games
Bringing 11pts out of possible 18

Table can change in a instant, Port Vale
last 6 games not relegation form.

          Onwards & upwards Millers.

Just about to go out for the night in central London , I've already witnessed the Aussies thumping us in the first Rugby League test this afternoon at Wembley and now the Millers have beaten us for the first time in 43 years .

Anyway congratulations to Rotherham United and I understand you more than deserved the win so fair play .

I may as well sink a few pints tonight and rescue the weekend .

            All the best .

Just the 55 years in coming !
Top notch away performance, things are coming together as the manager said they would when we had a proper amount & quality of players to pick from.
              Really,really pleased for him,given time(Not 7 or 8 games),he will make us into a decent team,early days,but doing great for a novice manager.
              Thanks lads for today.

The game itself wasn't a thing of beauty but the result sure was. UTM

Cheers - if in central London try Bar Italia on Frith Street, Soho - oldest running cafe in London with great coffee and atmosphere - and a photo of Rocky Marciano above the bar along with some of his old gloves

                        Just thought..

Just thought I'd post this..I can't really remember if I was at oakwell when we last beat barnsley, you would think that you would, but I was given tickets from my p.e teacher to go to watch us play barnsley at oakwell..me and a lad, who is now deceased, called Brian hawkes..my teacher played right wing for barnsley called bob earnshaw..I left school in 1970, so it was around that time..maybe 69..my mum was on edge cos we were both 14 or 15 going on the train..I also had another teacher called Roy Massey, who played a few games.for us..I was at kimberworth comprehensive..which was known for great footballers coming through the ranks....utm..

Highlight for me was the players running up to the fans at the end broad smiles across the players faces great spirit in the team fab to see after last couple of seasons, really trying not to go over the top but results like this you can’t help it, think our biggest enemy is injuries otherwise anything is possible
Agree with McGoldrick, him & Nombe together would cause a lot of problems for any defence in this league. Spence MoM for me.

I think this was an old fashioned Rotherham backs to the wall performance..every man giving his all..it was a perfect, if not spectacular performance..we might be on to summat now..

Like I said get James Nombe on 2nd half. Not been but need them on from the start. Hall as well. 3-5-2 then more chance it will work. Spence got more to his game now he's getting game time.
