Barnsley released him because he was their highest earner and they cannot get him fit and on the pitch.
So yes he is a gamble but as I said he would be the best player in this Division as the quality set piece from him today illustrates.

I'm afraid I have to agree with RU66 concerning Jules not being very mobile also I don't think he reads the game very well so he is always liable to give away a foul ,but with no-one else we'll have to wait and see if he has improved.

There's a saying about beggars and choosers that comes to mind! Maybe we should play the new goalie in a back 4/5 just to make Gru happy? He is 6'7" so maybe he'll do OK

Not sure - perhaps the next game? Fitness perhaps? Hope we can help Josh Benson with fitness - he could be a great acquisition if so. Tricky call for MH this one

Hatton had a bad injury at the end of last season and is only just back on the grass non contact training, McGuckin got a knock against Parkgate, Ayers I don't know.

I hate to upset RU66 BUT I did warn you hamshaw could play Rafferty Jules and James as a back three. Well it looks like he's done it again. That's 2 games so unless we bring in 2 more defenders that could be our back 3 Vs port vale
