    Who'd have thought that?

Look at the current table though and the positions below. Stevenage, Bradford, Wombles, Lincoln, Mansfield, teams who I certainly didn't think would be up in the top 8 so far this season. Is it really an easy League this season and it's up there for grabs by any team?

    Stockport County
    Cardiff City
    Stevenage
    Bradford City
    AFC Wimbledon
    Lincoln City
    Bolton Wanderers
    Mansfield Town

Not sure it's easy Brin, just less obviously better teams this time, more like your normal league one.
So maybe a good chance for a "smaller " team like Stevenage to make the big time.
I've thought all along we would finish top 10,after a slow start, which given all the changes would be a decent season.

I think it’s a pretty poor standard. We haven’t seen much/any quality so far. Relate it back to the year Wolves won it and we were up there with them. I think it was Preston and a few others setting the pace. That was a strong league with some real quality.

We've played 6 of the current top 8 and only gained 1pt from those games (the last one we played). 17 of the 22 points we've dropped this season have been against those teams.

Stats that show why we are where we are so does our recent uptick give us hope of challenging them or just hope of avoiding a relegation scrap?

I'd have liked to have played Stevenage and Donny with a dominant centre-half. Two goal less draws would have been a decent outcome. Add a penalty at Wimbledon from a challenge that 99 out of 100 is given to the defender.
