It is insane and yet again shows how badly run the club is at an operational level. I wanted to sit in my season ticket seat in WS7 but I can't. How does a half closed ground for the second game on the trot make the players feel.

Spot on CAM in fact you have all EFL trophy leagues and first two rounds of league and fa cup included in your ticket, then have kids for a quid as well

We need energy in the club and a direction.
A rare event, but I agree with you. Club direction, at least for this season, is stagnation, as a result the results up and down reflect it. None so obvious post match of the swindon game fiasco. The fact is even losing this gsme we gain nearly ?16,000?.rather than picking up ?47,000. (Plus gate receipts) seating block organising shows the lack of things?..we get a bit of money, don?t risk injuries, which at the moment is the priority.

Ed. The site does not recognise the pound symbol….. the money amount is correct.

I agree that the club are actively discouraging fans from attending,. by this policy of shoving us in a corner, while all the best seats in the family stand are covered with netting, to serve as a barrier between rival fans.
sitting near the corner flag is a non starter for me, as couldn`t see the other goal from there. My normal seat being on the half way line.
The idea of including early rounds in the season ticket as suggested on here, is way too progressive for a backward thinking club like ours.

I don't blame people for not going, I wish I hadn't now, but is it really too much hassle to sit in a different seat for two hours?
Fans will be urging the club to spend in January, was 14 quid (10 for oldies) over the top?

They couldn't do that if they wanted, It's against FA Cup rules, All non concession tickets must be a minimum of ten quid to everyone including season ticket holders.

                They do it with hospitality

I think some fans question whether it should ever be too much hassle for the club to open up its ground properly for an FA Cup game. I'd happily take a seat which isn't the one I have locked in for league matches and have no interest in the price - but I've far less interest in looking up at stands which, for the sake of (POSSIBLY) saving a few quid, are purposely left empty.

Where did hospitality customers and the board sit for Saturday's game.

It doesn’t help attendances when so many games are live on Sky. I live miles away although I have a season ticket. Midweek matches with a round trip of 230 miles is a no no due to lane and road closures, far better for me to sit at home and watch. At least I can hide behind the sofa when things begin to go awry! I’m not confident tonight, not one bit. 3 1 defeat my prediction!
