Getting to the 2nd round & winning
would have brought over 75,000 pounds.
    3rd round win - Over 115,000 pounds
    4th round win - Over 120,000 pounds
    Plus share of gate money.

    Remember Maidstone getting to the
5th round of the FA Cup.
    Lost 0-5 to Coventry City

    Maidstone got 351,375 pounds from
    their FA Cup exploits.
Big money to a non-league club.

Yes Eric all the best to you and your wife
As regards yesterday I must admit I don’t understand our injury woes, we all thought they were clearing up and being the cynic I am being as we have won 5 on the trot thought (stupidly) the players would be busting a gut to get in the team and stay there competition etc, the opposite has happened when MH was interviewed on Thursday it was stated there were niggles for Kelly Spence and Raggett (no surprise there) but nothing serious, then come Saturday all our centre halves plus Benson are injured, as said above we really must look at this as regards future recruitment and training methods

10 FA cup wins in the last 25 years.

          Last 25 years:
          2002 Southampton
          2009 Wealdstone
          2011 Barrow
          2012 Stevenage & Notts County
          2013 Bradford
          2019 Maidenhead and Solihull
          2021 Bromley and Stockport

5 of them non league clubs.

Paul Warne played in 3 of them and managed 4 of them.

As stated previously we never had any of this bollox in the 60s 70s 89s 90s etc etc.
But it's ever so cosy n the sick bay when it's cold dark and rainy
What an excellent point and post....bang on the button!

ItÂ’s arrogant of him to think it doesnÂ’t matter enough. IÂ’m annoyed at his attitude after the game yesterday. It mattered more to the opposition thatÂ’s for sure. IÂ’m not happy with him at all after yesterday. WhatÂ’s that saying you can fool some of the people some of the time and so on.
Disagree M8 the effort wasn't put in. If that squad was all that was available to hamshaw then so be it.
If Hamshaw didn't want to risk playing players with niggles. Again so be it.
The game should have been over in the first half. Nombe 2 efforts on his left foot were poor for a pro. Hugill goal not sure why it was disallowed.

On a positive note. This past week we have seen Ayres. Douglas, Duncan, and Gardner who all looked good prospects for the future.
Gardners movement yesterday was very good for young kid

I agree, not being available to play makes you useless as a footballer until you are available. Powell and gore got stick on here for their performances, which is madness in itself they were two of our better players, I am not a fan of Hugill but all them three players hardly miss a game and the stats for gore and Powell on running and work rate are two of the best at the club. TS needs to take control of this situation, and stop letting hamshaw and his fitness blokes mark their own homework. Said it before there are professional organisations that work with clubs as independent consultants, we need a different pair of eyes looking at this issue. In January we need to do what we can to remove the sick notes from the club, start with Raggett and Kayode. As for Tuesday we have NO fit CBs, now MH will play 3 players out of their natural position there before playing Duncan, that lad was excellent yesterday against very big experienced strikers, give the lad a few starts at least he looks likes he wants to play. My gut feel is MH has something against him.

We've found a new Centre back....Hugill . Strange watching him play there yesterday but he hardly put a foot wrong, is this is new position?

Only way to rectify that shambles of a performance yesterday especially from management team is to win the game Tuesday otherwise it will make even a bigger shambles in my opinion.

Club were never overly fussed about the cup, consequently some of the fans weren't either. It's done with now, onto the league and two winnable home games.

I agree Ulley, but lets hope we can step up. Both games could/will provide a tough test, but Burton maybe a more winnable game, and if that happen it'll be a good pick-me-up for the Lincoln game...............utm.

Very strange last sentence totally unfounded, this is how nasty rumours start ! Hamshaw as nothing against him or any other player! Fact is he his 17 and has been injured a lot of this season and is about 7th in the pecking order !!

A shambles on Saturday, performances of the players and management unacceptable in my opinion. Against a side from L2 at home and down to ten men, we ought to have had enough, injuries or not, to have won. Some bizarre substitutions hardly helped and left many scratching their heads. Tonight is a must win really. It so much for the improved leave position if we win but for players, manager and fan confidence. Defeat is unthinkable really. Burton are on a good run and something of a bogey opponent but they’re a small club punching above their weight and if we are ever to improve this is a game we need to win. So far, again my opinion, we are no better than this time last season, possibly worse!

Well goalkeeper Gordon Morritt played centre forward, so why not play Hugill at centre half.
