Too many long balls when simple passes were on.
I?m a MH fan but the way but it?s ok to criticise.
Don't disagree with any of this. Though in MH defence (maybe it's his own doing) he doesn't have the players to provide width. I guess they are his players and the wide players he brought in are not performing.
I'm in the gru66 camp regarding Martha. Plus imo he would be far better in the championship than the rough n tumble of league one

He's playing Powell as wingbacks which is a waste of his ability. He needs to have a roaming role to boss a game

We have no wide players ! if you had played in a poor team you would always be going backwards, no confidence to go forward ! Hughill had played over 2 hrs on Saturday he would be shot ? I?m not a fan of Martha, so Benson could have arrived earlier, long balls again are a lack of confidence, but you said earlier we were passing backwards and not forward, can?t both be right ? Make shift team = very little confidence plus our main engines had played over 2 hrs and were a little bit Flat !!

We are still tracking almost identically to last year. Just 1pt and a couple of places better off after 14 games. This week a year ago we put on the abject performance at Oakwell that signalled the vitreolic attacks on SE. The last half hour yesterday may have saved MH from a similar reaction?

Lincoln on Saturday could be a tipping point in either direction. Naturally as one of the Rosehill Mob I'd like it to be in the right direction.
Last year, you and others were berating SE for the performances and results. Now you are using it as a benchmark for acceptability. Last year was ****e, this year is as bad if not worse. It’s time you and others wake up to the harsh reality that TS has sold us down the river and MH is paddling hard in the same direction.

Whose fault is it we have no wide players?
You shouldn't play a 30 yard pass when there is a simple one on sideways. Last night Rafferty had Martha free but played it long to Nombe he had 2 defenders on him. MH clapped him and gave him thumbs up. That?s on him. The lack of wide players is on him he didn?t sign any then did he? When we win it?s down to the manager but when we lose you?ve just given a load of excuses why we lost. A lot of passes which were on went backwards or hoofed forward
I?m a MH supporter but the last 2 games he got it wrong.

Could you elaborate on some of your grouses ? Disorganised well two full backs and a rookie in the back four ? What else could he do ? Negative, what do you expect with a makeshift team ? Can you explain exactly what else he could do ?
The defense was make shift and actually, I don’t think they did too bad. Teams will concede if they can’t retain the ball or create chances at the other end.

However, the rest of the team were not make shift. They were mainly (expect Nombe and Powell) the guff MH has signed. But more than that, they played to the tactics of MH which were pathetic to none existent.

Hall if he puts that bit extra in pulls up injured. Martha was supposed to be our left wing back I could see even before we signed him wasn't. Kaleta never a wide player. Agbaire we have better younger centre backs. Etete Sherif same Ayres better. Gore Benson don't mind. Spence rate. T Holmes when fit same.

Stop talking daft. You never knew he existed before we signed him.

Or to translate - if you disagree with what MH is doing you are wrong, will have been wrong before and will always be wrong.

Over the past 5 games, only Stockport have a better points return, and they're top. I realise some of the Millers' performances haven't been great, but if the team can produce that sort of points return, things can't be too bad? And, once (if) we have our best XI available, the potential for better football with an even better points return is quite exciting!

Just posted for a bit of perspective.

no positivity from people? so many variables would have made a different game. sheriff fit? he had so many touches in dangerous areas that with match sharpness would have gone in. the 2nd goal while good was capitalising on a flukey slip. hugill came on and made immediate impact but due to how little he scores is always everyones scapegoat which onbviously plays into the managers selections. nombe should have come off at half time still not fully fit. martha has the body of a young boy which he basically is and the defence took advantage of that and due to a **** ref we got nothing against martha. nothing to say about douglas everyone knows how much he stepped up and deserved all the praise hes getting. we were confortably playing plenty of good football outside of the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half without the final killing edge which will come eventually. and the final 15 minutes or whatever we literally battered em.

This site is becoming an echo chamber.
                                Sensible views only welcome.
I’ve heaped praise on MH over and over yet criticise him for a game or 2 and you are unrealistic, you don’t have perspective, you can’t see the bigger picture or you don’t understand what he’s doing.

Just because the minority have a different view doesn’t make it wrong and just because the major say something else doesn’t make it right, (sensible).
Not a dig at you Brin just saying it’s becoming a place where if you criticise MH it’s wrong but SE got pelters and that was ok.
For the record one last time I like MH and think long term he will do well but the last couple of games imo he’s got it wrong. He can’t just have a free ride and keep saying the same things when it doesn’t go well.
