How he failed to stop a shot from outside the area, low and close to his nearer corner, was not impressive at all. He should have stopped that with ease.

Cann should start at Accrington so Matt can compare them both.

Talking about goalkeepers. Just watched the ladies quarter final Germany v France and Berger, the German goalkeeper pulled off an absolutely unbelievable save to keep Germany in the tie. Gordon Banks style. Germany had been down to 10 men since the 13th minute when one of their players was sent off but managed to pull it back to 1-1 before winning 6-5 on penalties. Berger even scored one of the penalties and Minge, the German captain did well to keep her composure, having been made to wait about a minute before taking the first penalty.
I must admit I had a very juvenile moment when I saw that name.

We've had Dawson for a season, so we all know he is very average, is Cann any better ?
No idea so far,but I would think the management will have an idea by now.
He will play against Accie,then the decision will be made who starts v Port Vale.
The thing is, we have been spoilt with great goalkeepers in recent years,Dawson is mire the normal for our level.

what is even funnier, in German it is pronounced Minga, which she isn't

I personally think Dawson will come good. Don?t think he?s as bad as everyone is making out. Yes he wasn?t great yesterday but I think he will be ok. Not Victor class no but not many are.
