  • O/T Chris Eubanks Jnr v Connor Benn rematch Sat 15th Nov

The fight will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and if this goes anything like last time, it will be an epic.

Eubanks Jnr will have to do it all again by getting and keeping his weight down, that almost seriously injured him last time around. Will it affect him as badly or will he be self conditioned enough to deal with it all?

As for Benn, this is his chance to redeem some pride and fly the flag for the Benn family name, retribution if you like as some didn't see it as a unanimous decision to Eubank Jnr the last time these two met. Either way and after having been defeated, one may well feel it's time to walk away from it all and retire.

Total respect will be shown from both proud Fathers of these gladiators as they will be in attendance close to their Sons corners, always great to see that.

I feel it's going to be another very close encounter so much so, I can't even call this one. Good luck to both of them and trust they come out of it physically intact and well.

I wonder how my mate Scum sees this one?

I don?t like the rehydration clause to get round the weight difference.
It?s the tail wagging the dog because of their names.

Saying that. Eubank is the better boxer and naturally bigger and with Bomac as his coach his training camp will have been meticulously planned and

He is 36 and I imagine it will be his last fight.

My money is on Eubank to stop Benn in the mid to late rounds.

Cheers for that pal.Whoever wins it's a bumper pay day for them both and like you say, at 36 Chris Jnr will probably think enough is enough. Not sure yet, if his twins have been born? Surely that may spur him on to retirement and watch them grow with all his facilities intact.

There's been many bad injuries, even death that's come from boxing, here's to this being a good fight and they both come out of it fine.

NB. As for the latest news on Anthony Joshua, wtf is he thinking of wanting to fight Jake Paul. I mean just what is that all about? I know he's not been in the ring for a long time but surely he has to fight someone in the top 4/5 to stay in there as a world contender?

Yes pal a few times. The atmosphere is normally electric you can feel the anticipation. If you are close enough you can hear the punches connecting and you appreciate the skill of the boxers the footwork and speed is evident. Would recommend it.

YAK, you couldn't have worded it much better. The sickening sound of glove to flesh as it thuds in is a completely different take on it all.

You almost feel the pain for the receiving boxer and while the pain is evident on their face, their demeanour changes if hit with a good shot. Live is much better. Enjoy the fight YAK, wish I was there.

Much more grown up and professional build up to this fight.
No egg throwing and weigh in histrionics.

They both seem much more focussed and prepared this time around.

The 2 camps will both be aware that Benn Senior or Junior haven?t beaten Eubank Senior or Junior yet.
Many think Benn was robbed with the 1993 draw and others think that the last junior fight could?ve/ should?ve been a draw.

I've had a re think and for me it will explode tonight and it will all be over before round 7 as one of them will look to finish it early.

Only thing to spoil it would be a Benn win as Eubank Jr wouls surely want a re match so as not to spoil the family name, on the other hand, should Benn lose then I don't think Eubank Jnr will fight again and will gracefully retire.

The purse by the way is an 18 Million pound split.

O/T This is why boxings become one big joke.

Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will fight YouTube star Jake Paul in a professional bout on 19 December.

To be fair, when the lineal heavyweight champion got beaten (despite the robbery) by a UFC fighter two years ago, it had become hard to defend as a legitimate sport.

Lower weight classes have long been where the genuine talent and depth is, heavyweight boxing has been on it's ar** for years.

Sorry pal, I don’t read about boxing much anymore & this is probably why. It’s all about the money, some of today’s boxers would not live with some of the great boxers over the years.

No probs pal. As for yesterday?s champions it would be interesting to see them mix it with today?s boxers.
