  • Jack Wilshere Interview

Just had a listen to the Wilshere interview on their site, not that I would expect anything else but no credit or respect given to us whatsoever says we came just to defend and there was only one team wanting to win the game, nothing about the twice we were stopped by the ref from scoring opportunities and potential sendings off, condescending and what you?d expect from an ex ?top? player starting out in the management game, reminded me of Lampard and Rooney in recent years, talks a good game but at the end of the day your team didn?t score against a Millers team with no defenders or attackers but through sheer guts and hard work got the point that they at the very least deserved
PS it?s up to you to get your team to score I would suggest you were tactically outthought and outfought by a manager with VERY limited choices

I would like to formally apologise to Jack on behalf of RUFC for not playing the type of football that you wanted us to play.
Please feel free to pick our side, do the half time team talk and manage the substitutions for us in the return game at NYS.
Hopefully that will mean your players can have more time on the ball.

Can I also remind Pep Wilshere that he is only a point above us and recently lost at home to Mansfield.

My advice would be to use some of the ?60 million parachute payments to buy some humility.

Perry Groves was at the game and heaped loads of praise on us on talksport earlier.

Did Jack mention the Reffing error that saved them a possible defeat?

The interviewer actually raised the injury crisis, make shift defence, both forwards going off, etc but it didn’t deter JW from bemoaning their “bad luck” at not bringing able to break us down!
JW actually said they didnÂ’t expect us to be so compact!
What did he expect? Loads of space for them to pull us apart?
I agree with previous comments, he was out thought plus his players were out fought!!

Wonder if he regrets not having the game postponed.

Mcwilliams wouldn't have scored he's too slow.

Haha. Do you know a certain player who would have scored? I'm sure you have one to mind

It was the home fans booing you pal, not us....
