  • Teams You Have Watched The Most

    Other than Rotherham and England

Personally I have watch Sheffield Wednesday more times than any other apart from Rotherham although I was never a fan.

Internationally the team I have seen more than any other apart from England is Albania.

    And yours?

    Derby County.

I lived down there for 15 years and got to a fair few games during that time.

Malaga , we go regularly to the Costa Del Sol and try and take in a game whenever we can at the Estadio La Rosaleda , we saw them lose 0-1 in the derby against Cadiz in September .

As with the majority of Spanish stadiums its a cracking atmosphere especially a night game .

It's a funny thing , after a few visits it started to mean something more than just taking in a game on your holidays .

I was genuinely gutted when Malaga lost to Cadiz .

Spurs when Jimmy Greaves was in their team and Aldershot when they were in the old 4th Division.
I was at secondary school in Berkshire at the time.

Other than teams playing us, probably Budapest Honvéd and might not be a total suprise it's Hungary at international level

I'm still very disappointed by that 96th minute winner today as well, they just can't seem to qualify for world cups

I?ve really not watched much football other than the Millers (and that?s not very often compared to the rest of you, given my absence from Rotherham for the last 64 years?

In other sports, I?ve watched a lot of baseball - mainly the New York Yankees from the years living in Connecticut and working in NYC. (That?s also the clue to my message board name for those that may not know.)

Northampton Town, Man City and Villa in the 80s and 90s due to family/friends allegiances.

                    Seattle Sounders since 2006.

Aston and Swallownest U11s since August

If we're talking about other teams watched on TV, not in the flesh, then I watch pretty much every Spurs game, and have done for the last 20 odd years since moving to Herts, and now London.

                      I clearly hate myself.

Apart from the obvious Sheffield teams, I've seen West Ham on four different grounds.
Most random, a Bournemouth v Reading friendly with Grabbon and Le Fondre on opposing sides.

Sheffield United, at home only, many times, as my uncle used to take me and my cousin when the millers were away..that's when there were just 3 sides to the ground..he was a big cricket fan and used to watch the cricket there too..I've still got programmes..other than that I've always been a closet spurs fan.. especially when greaves and Alan gilzean played..loved it when they beat Chelsea in the 67 cup final..but they were only second to the famous Rotherham united football club..
