Without having seen the players I said last week all the midfielders are small 5? 8? and I know we have very little height, speed, strength and sorely lacking in know how, in another words we need some men !

My take is Nombe agent is working on getting him a move so he will take it easy during August. Hugill knows he is guaranteed to start because Nombe will leave and we have nobody else, having no forwards is suicidal at all levels of football. Too many players been brought in too close to the start of the season so we are not a team at the moment, just a bunch of blocks wearing the same shirt. The keeper is useless and won't be first choice for long. This could be a case of the manager having a style and approach and having to get the players to buy into it and they will be learning as we play games in the season, remember Southampton in the championship, they had an awful start, they did turn it round but will we if we start poorly, do we have the personalities? Will the ages of the group work against us? We will see

If you?re expecting promotion this season you will be disappointed. If you?re expecting a decent season once we get settled and have a style of play and rhythm then I think you will be satisfied.

Well X was ten last season but then it moved to 12 then 15 under S/E.

9 goals in 2 games. Last week we conceded 5 because it was a top Championship side mmmm perhaps it is because we aren't very good. I think the next week needs to be about defending. Dawson has to be dropped.
Football recruitment isn't that hard, build a spine keeper, brute of a centre-half, terrier in midfield and a bloke to score goals and batter their centre-half's. Stick on a couple of wide players and there is the basis of a team. Jules is not the man to lead the defence, the keeper is awful, we might have a terrier (if he stays fit longer than a week) and Hugill is no Michael Smith. What would you give for a Ben Pringle or a Joe newell now to play wide. MH has a huge job on and at the moment you can see us bottom 3 and out of the cup in the first month.
