Were Stanley that good? If you think so I think I will risk a fiver on them for promotion

Didn't go,so can't comment on the game, other than I thought Cann would start, especially after the United game, maybe MH he has made up his mind and was giving Dawson one last chance ?
Sometimes you win all pre season games and get relegated, sometimes you lose them all and get promoted, they're not really about results.
However, winning any game is good for confidence, so getting hammered in the kast 2 before the season starts isn't ideal.
I think August will be a difficult month, but we will get better, and I think we will be top 10 come Christmas.
      This season is about rebuilding.

If Cann isn't no. 1 keeper he shouldn't be here. Needed a replacement for Dawson.

They were very physical, a team full of big players who got stuck in. They did all the basics well and were clearly up for it. They were a team that looked to have gelled well.

We were disjointed, almost timid in our approach and Stanley jumped on that and were able to bully us. They did their job well and we didn't do ours at all.

Any team going to the Wham Stadium this coming season will have a tough game no doubt. Whether it'll see them through to promotion, who knows but I think they'll be finish top half, maybe push for play offs

Pre season they have drawn with Everton 1.1 and lost to Blackburn 1.2. and Wigan 2.4.
