Hope not. I think if we're short of forwards we need to apply a similar approach as we've seen work with Douglas. Drag your mate back (McGooks) and get him up front with Hall. Hall knows where the net is, will battle for lost causes, and we can have Rafferty take up a more traditional right back role. McG with either Hall or Martha, backed like Douglas by the manager, ride out the next few weeks. Sherif won't be a regular, doesn't seem a 90 minutes every week player, he can help lighten the load around those two.

Have to agree though not sure if mcguckin is injured.
The young lads we have who can play in those positions are probably not upto this level but neither will the freeby be.

Was not released by Huddersfield until 11th Sept 25 so cannot sign for anyone until 1st Jan 26 so it will not be him

Freddie was a decent finisher, but certainly not a target man,if Huggy Bear is also injured then we will need another similar player up front.
If he isn't injured he still need some help, but don't really think Ladapo is the answer.
Must be loads out of work who could come in and do 60 minutes for us,and I very much doubt Gru's son is the answer.

Hugill good chance he won't be out long. Hardly been injured while being with us. Nombe could be out longer fox in the box like him that's were we might need someone bringing in.

hamshaw said hugill touch and go for reading, so they cant be seriously injured. he lacks pace but pair em with martha and we might be ok.

Nobody will come to us because DrDeath who does our fitness can?t keep a player fit, how much of a disaster was it bringing him back? Guess what person we have looking into our training and fitness to see if we are doing anything wrong, yes it is the bloke himself, marking his own homework, what with that and the absentee landlord it is amazing we can win any games.
Sherif is Everton?s JJ he plays 45 minutes and then he is off work again for a month, nice work if you can get it. All the wait until our injured players are back was the cry, well we got them back for the pre-game warm ups and now we have even more injuries.
You have to give credit to the players that get themselves on that pitch and not just for a game or so but consistently, it is the same players whose availability % is high and the same players who go from injury to injury, that in itself is an issue, there will be other causes of this somewhere down in the detail where the devil always sits.
It is so frustrating because we have something forming here we have sprouts of a decent entertaining side, and there is a huge risk of us losing that if the root causes are not found and addressed. This is of course just my opinion and other opinions are available

Recruitment will play a massive part in this. We already have injury prone players on the books but we've also signed injury prone players and signed young players (still learning about their bodies). And then you have players who don't quite fall into those categories but are injured relatively frequently. Zak Jules for instance did his hamstring late last season and he's now injured again, for the second time this season.

So it's a reshuffle in January and next summer in terms of the squad. Etete and Sherif need to be gone in January. Kayode and Raggett in the summer, possibly Zak Jules as well.

In terms of whether players are being overtrained, Sam Nombe hasn't been injured for 3 years, other than the odd niggle. He's played 40+ league games for two seasons running and now he's been injured twice this season. Both muscle injuries, the second of which was done in training. Jules and Baptiste also injured in training. I'll let people draw their own conclusions from that.
