Really enjoyed yesterday's game. Wycombe were probably the best team to visit NYS this season, particularly in the first half. You have to give great credit to MH. His half time talk instilled lots of energy into the team and Wycombe were lucky not to lose the game as we dominated the second half. Spence gets more like Frecklington each game and he's part of a quality midfield which, once they have a fit forward line to service, will dominate most teams in this league. Hugill put in another dogged performance and was unlucky not to be awarded a penalty in the second half when his shirt was almost removed.

We've not seen this quality of football from the Millers since the departure of Paul Warne. Long may it continue!

Number one priority in January is keep Nombe,Hall,Martha, Powell, Gore, and James.
Return Etete and Sherrif, release Raggett, and sign a couple of half decent forwards.
      There you go....easy.

Second half, different matter. We passed and moved and deserved to equaliser and maybe more.

I?’ve criticised Hamshaw but credit to him, he is building a side. Why oh why won?’t TS back him. A decent striker in this team and we could make the playoffs. Hugill is getting the praise for battling through an injury but he ain?’t good enough.

TS - be brave. Gamble on a Whatmore or the like and take a chance. Or this is on you!
The Wycombe chairman has backed Duff, come on Tony,it's our centenary year.

The first half we were really poor however their goal only came from a deflected cross. Second half we were very good and it was a typical Duff tactics to cling on. I have no issue with teams using such tactics it is up to the officials to stop it and those officials yesterday were so bad. I took two neutrals with me and they both said the foul on Hugill was one of the most blatant penalties. Hugill deserves so much credit for getting himself through 90 mins and our midfield is very good. The owners have to back MH this week with Watmore and again in January. Kelly, raggett and jack holmes can all leave send back the injured strikers as well. We have to build on this squad not sell, it would be great if we heard something from the club backing MH. Regarding Hall, good player but yesterday he sat back too much and a number of times the midfield looked to play a ball to him but he wouldn’t run beyond their midfield to give the option. We need some increased availability from four or five players and we could make the top ten. I do think we should play raggett and Duncan at Salford and to try and win that game a Efl trophy win and a top ten finish would be a great centenary year.

Hamshaw stop keeping your favourites happy even if it's Duncan at centre back to get James playing left wing back. Hall Gore Spence Powell have the shirts at the moment to make up the 5 in midfield. Hughill up front Martha getting up to support him.

Gru can you please explain how he is playing his favourites? The side is decimated by injuries and the first 11 virtually picks itself the only change yesterday was Martha for McWilliams, isn’t how you describe how we set up anyway? Martha was up front with Hugill
              Totally baffled!

How do you think we can keep Gore he?s not our player, if he comes up for sale we can?t afford his full wages. I hope Matts got something up his sleeve when he does go because he will leave a big hole in our M/F.

Powell shouldn't be playing left wing back like 1st half yesterday when James can. I wouldn't be against Duncan playing at centre back while T Holmes gets up to speed.

Gore won't be on big wages right now just because he's at Man Utd. He's barely kicked a ball in men's football until this season.

It'll come down to what we're prepared to offer at the end of the season and the other options he has in front of him. I think it's unlikely we get him but it isn't out of the question.

That?s my worry mate what WE are prepared to offer, a lot of players have left us in the last few seasons because clubs offer more than us.I think the lads a Championship player & we don?t pay Championship wages.

A lot will depend on who leaves the club. Liam Kelly and Raggett won't be here next season, maybe Hugill will leave too. All 3 will be on good wages so we might get some wiggle room in that respect.

How much do you think we'd have to pay Man Utd to get him on a permanent deal? I bet 1.5m would get him, with a sell on clause. I know that's a lot of money for us, but if we sell one of either Nombe, Hall or Martha, you never know.

Thing about Gore is that he doesn't score, or get assists. He's a sitter. He looks after the ball really well and can find a pass so he's clearly an important player to us. But the point is, I don't see anyone coming in (yet) with a 5m offer and 20k per week wages. He hasn't even had half a season with us, so has a lot to prove, I'm sure he will by the way.

That's my view anyway, others might disagree.

His contract at man united ends at the end of the season.

No fee frees up better wage offer.
