O/T Liverpool parade attacker receives a big sentence

Rightly so that this cowardly deranged b.astard deliberately ran down and ran over people merely just out celebrating Liverpool parading the Premier League Trophy.

21 years and 6 months. Was this enough? He has altered a great number of peoples lives forever. He dragged some under his car before finally being surrounded and the car brought to a halt.

Horrific injuries to some that they will never recover from.

As for Paul Barr, the hero that managed to get into the car and putting it into park, he deserves an award for his utter bravery in trying to stop the carnage being worse than what it was.

Despicable act and imo should have got life sentence. The intent was there so lock him up permanently.
People should feel safe when they are out celebrating and this was horrific.

Don't forget this government like to let people out after they've served 40% of their sentence so he might be looking at as little as 8.1/2 years in reality.

The 40% emergency release provisions do not apply in this case, both because of the nature of the offences that he was convicted of and because the total sentence exceeded 4 years.

Throw the book at him imo. Shocking and deliberate actions. People will be scarred for life. No place in society for these kind of dangerous people
