RU66, there is a TV movie called 'The Lottery' it's an adaptation from the book by Shirley Jackson starring Keri Russell.Originally posted by RU66 View PostWhat if you don't like action films or sc fi?
It explores the unsettling annual tradition in a small village where a lottery is held, leading to a shocking, violent outcome.
It might not be the one to see for you though as it may shatter all your dreams of what may happen should you ever win big pal.

Just watched "The Ballad Of Wallis Island" starring Tim Key (Alan Partridge's "sidekick Simon" on Radio Norfolk).
British comedy drama at it's absolute best. Superb characters, a great story, sentimental without going over the top.
It takes a lot for a film to charm me, but this one hit the spot. A brilliant, easy watch.

Thanks for the nod on this one buddy, watched it last night. Great twist to it all throughout. Quite eerie when all the outside lights come on at the all the properties in the cul de sac. To think that cartels could buy up whole streets like that makes logical sense in order to protect their main house.Originally posted by Scum-Triumphant View PostWatched The Rip on Netflix last night.
Good solid no brainer action film.
Reminded me of the original assault on precinct 13
