It's time for another Yorkshire derby on Saturday and this time sees us welcome Huddersfield Town to the New York Stadium.
The Boss
Lee Grant, the former Sheffield Wednesday and Derby goalkeeper was appointed in the summer on a 3 year deal. Since then, it's fair to say that the 42 year old hasn't had the best of starts to his managerial career. Town have only won 3 league games since 6th September, a run clearly unsustainable for an expectant fan base. As a result, it is no surprise that pressure is mounting on the rookie manager.
Who To Watch
Alfie May has had an excellent scoring record over the last few seasons. He got 17 goals for Birmingham last season and 27 for Charlton in the season before that. Huddersfield paid 1.4m for his services in the summer but on the face of it he's yet to find his shooting boots for the Terriers, scoring only 3 goals so far this season.
Marcus Harness
Harness is a former Derby player who Hamshaw will know well from his time there as coach. Prior to Derby, the central midfielder was also a regular in the Ipswich team which won successive promotions from L1 to the Premier League. He's a capable player with bags of experience at Championship level.
Dion Charles
Regularly on the scoresheet for his former club Bolton, the 30 year old striker seems to be finding goals hard to come by. He's found the net 4 times for the Terriers this season in 18 appearances.

Summary
On paper, Huddersfield have undoubtedly one of the better squads in the league and clearly the financial backing to give them the edge over most at this level. However, they have only picked up three wins in the league since September 6th (a run of 13 games) and are currently without a win in five. Sitting 9th in the table, there's growing unrest amongst supporters. An early goal for us on Saturday might be something they don't recover from.
With that in mind, now is probably the best time to be playing the Terriers. That being said, we are going into the game off the back of two straight defeats against teams who are in the bottom four and like Huddersfield, we're also without a win in 5 league games. So it wouldn't come as a surprise to hear the opposition echoing similar thoughts.
Looking ahead, we're away at Bolton and then Blackpool, which makes this a big game for us. We've seen how quickly things can change and given the fact we're only 2 points off the relegation zone, a win on Saturday would ease some of that pressure before going into those two away fixtures.
There's plenty at stake for both sides on Saturday, possibly for different reasons which makes it an intriguing contest.
