Tactics are so poor. Boot it up to Hugill. I have praised him before but it is time to realise that his only asset is that he makes himself available to play unlike most of the weaklings in our squad who get injured if someone looks at them funny.

MH is not filling me with confidence but I would keep him because I cannot trust our chairman to bring anyone better in.
I share the same thoughts re the Chairman but we simply cannot leave things as they are. Hamshaw has signed a load of cripples and weaklings.

Holmes was lauded as our saviour and we now see just why he can’t get anywhere near the first team at Luton.

He plays Kelly who is finished in front of another one of this marquee signings, Yearwood, who again is miles off the standard.

The two lads from Holland have had a bits and pieces season. Talk of anyone signing them in January is laughable.

In fact, I can’t think of one decent signing that he has made.

The best thing would be for the Old Soak to sell up and take MH with him.

Apart from our disallowed goal early which there was minimal contact on their defender there was nothing in chances till Nombe scored. Only Gore who Evans signed & Baptist though even only loanies are the only signings that add anything to the side. Send T Holmes & Etete back to their parent clubs in January. Kaleta never a wide player will get found out only being able to cut inside on the left. Martha I'd sell him in January if some club thinks they're signing a world cup player from next year we know different. Got to make best of the rest till the end of this season. T Holmes & Kelly shouldn't have started yesterday that's Hamshaw showing why he's not a manager.

The buck stops absolutely with the board, the absent one. MH may have more in him than is being given credit for, the jury is out on that one since given what the players are doing and are like and in the main are regime left overs.

What won’t happen is the reverse of the above, contracts are going to have to run out, wages freed up, before he will have chance to form his own squad with players of a type he clearly wants, to play the way he wants. THAT is the main weakness I see. Not recognising we do not have the players for the MH way. (Whatever that may be)

I personally think it is too early to judge MH. His interview yesterday showed weakness, repetative, not being willing to explain then making apologies for not doing so. A wiser manager would cut it short, what is the point of an eight minute stunted rant? Repeating he “gets it”
Getting it and being able to do something about it and not say why, pointing fingers at an old regime, players. That is going to lose a dressing room. If it hasn’t gone already.
When you cannot say what you want to say, better say nothing.

Tactics. He states Udders don’t play out from the back, what did he do, try to match? That back three had never played together and it showed. And when it got replaced it showed. So two important points down to MH. The tactics and players have been found out before, but not learned from.

Half a season plus the remnants of last year. How much more time should he have?

You are accurate about his interview. It shows his naivety and his clumsy dealings. He’s had a relatively easy time off the media thus far. It seems that the terms transition and work in progress are his hiding place.

Relegation would be a disaster but it’s a reality with him at the helm. That said, the squad is slightly better than relegation so with a decent manager we might just survive. Only two attainable candidates for me - David Artell or Woodman from Bromley. Both would be an improvement but it does show how far we have sunk.

          Thanks TS!

The crowd were poor again yesterday. I know the team are not giving us anything to shout about but there was empty seats everywhere and was very quiet.

I couldn?t understand why their first goal scorer ran to goad the fans at the corner flag when he scored. Maybe it was to wake them up.

Football is about entertainment. Perhaps more now than ever before and people expect to be entertained for the price they pay. Sadly, that?s not happening and people have drifted off to other things.

Until TS moves on, we are in a downward spiral.

I understand completely what you are saying. Similar things have happened at Wednesday and Wolves recently.

                Yesterday just seemed very apathetic

The post match interview with MH was a sign that he’s not up to it. Constant repeating I get it I know what’s wrong I get it it’s not acceptable I get it. Does he though?
Playing Kelly and Holmes and dropping Douglas was ridiculous.
Hoofball to nobody up top is criminal.
He looks out of his depth. I think we will go down. The club is in free fall. No direction no plan no investment no pride in anything.
It’s just embarrassing from top to bottom.

The Centenary season for our club would have been the perfect opportunity for the Chairman to back Hamshaw with a war chest to get promotion and then to milk the applause before selling a championship club and riding off into the sunset as the saviour he was when he saved us. He's now becoming a millstone and holding the club back and allowing all our best players to leave on free transfers, he will assest strip in January and Sack Hamshaw in March when we're in the bottom 4. The club is stagnant and it's all because our esteemed leader has lost interest or should I say hie hier to the thrown has. Sadly more and more are going to vote with their feet and the club will be back in the same division he took over in but with a better stadium. Yesterday was simply awful!

Entertainment? I think think those 20 minutes leading up to half time were pure comedy that the Chuckle Brothers would have been proud of.

One thing that struck me was, 3-0 down at half time, kicking towards the home support in the 2nd half and we never even threatened or showed enough urgency to get the crowd going until 95+ minutes when most of them were on their way home. Had that happened after 50 minutes, and as bad as we'd been (and we were very bad), we maybe could have got something from the game.

We were dead a buried way before half time. Huddersfield could have got the bus home at half time and these clowns wouldn?t have got anything from the game.

                        One of our own! Ffs

Very poor first half and abut better in the second half when it was too late and probably Huddersfield took their foot off the accelerator. Don’t know if the manager should go , who’s going to come especially if no money might not be available. The one person who should go is Teflon Tony , he’s lost interest so should sell if possible.

Revel be manager I'd go for. Doing great at Stevenage could be tempted here it's were he's most famous for as a player his goal at Wembley.

I very much doubt Revell would take the job.

He won't walk away from what he's created at Stevenage unless tempted with a King's ransom, and I can't see that happening when TS is winding down.

It might help if the interviewers asked better questions, what about. Matt can you explain to the fans why you have instructed your keeper to kick the ball long down the middle, week after week?
Matt can you explain to the fans why you bought so many midfielders and yet miss them out and play over them?
matt can you explain why you refuse to try four at the back when you have experienced full backs and centre backs and no natural wing backs?
Matt can you explain to the fans when you had a number of young players perform really well at Salford you have ignored them and persist with old players that are clearly struggling.
Matt can you explain to the fans why you can't see that one of the UKs greatest impersonators (his specialities are of a footballer, a wrestler and a boxer) is allowed to stay on the pitch in a Rotherham shirt when a blind man can see he isn't a footballer and never will be.
Matt can you explain to the fans what you actually do in training except create players that are so fragile they are off work more often than a 1970s British car worker.
