We have to do the homework, send out the trawlers but keep away from ex players and nice cheap lads from Rawmarsh
I'm available, not an ex-player and don't come cheap. I am however from Rawmarsh. Should I get my CV dusted off or not?

I've noticed that men with bald heads and beards make good football managers.

Pep Guardiola, Enzo Maresca, Nuno Espirito Santo, Luke Williams (Peterborough manager) and Paul Warne.

So maybe if TS does decide to fire Matt Hamshaw, this ought to form part of his selection criteria.

2 Recruit a new management team with experience of this god awful league
3 Don’t recruit ex players nor those that have been here before
4 Don’t recruit anybody with a Paul Warne connection
Yea , number 4, let's have no players that were connected to our most successful manager..3 promotions and 3 Wembley appearances, without spending a fortune..don't mention the relegations..he was never given a fortune to correct them..did it his own way at derby, the fans didn't like the football, but he got them up..and this could be his fifth promotion this year..we've never been the same since he's been gone, never be out of work that bloke..

Just to correct this, was it two Wembley finals, my memory doesn't serve me that well..nevertheless, a great achievement, great bloke, and good luck to him..

I always felt Warne should be our manager for 20 years, like Gradi was at Crewe. I also said to be careful what you wish for as once Warne left we would implode and it would be downwards all the way. I got absolute pelters on here for daring to voice such opinions but here we are. I could feel quite smug about my amazing foresight, if it wasn’t my football club stumbiling about in the dark and moving towards a sheer cliff. I have no idea how we fix it and get back on the right track (beyond the same wishlist of things that will never happen that others have posted). But it doesn’t matter that you or I don’t know. What is most depressing is that nobody at the club does either.

I understand the calls for the manager to go. But, remembering who appointed Scott (A), Stubbs, Redfearn, Taylor, Jackett, Richardson, Evans the second time and Richardson, not forgetting they sacked Moore while we were in the play offs and drove a man who was doing a great job and deeply loved working for RUFC to such an extent he nearly didn’t take the job because he knew what happens to managers, to feel like he had to leave. Who also got turned down by every half-decent manager who got interviewed for the Job, including Bonner who has since vanished without trace. And then realising exactly the same people will be making the decision yet again. What would be the point? If NOTHING will change, then why change at all? Wishing for a takeover is all we have, but a sacking ain’t actually going to change our present course at all IMO. Thoroughly depressing.

No m8 of yours if you keep calling me that.

Mods can something be done about defamation of character being called that when you'll know it's not true. I got banned for less in my opinion.
