6 defeats in a row, when did that last happen...must be a championship season, at this level.....
    No idea.
Only seen the home games in those games, but apart from maybe Bolton, the others sounded the same.....very poor.
Watched Matt 's interview and I feel for the guy,he seemed a broken man.
A proper decent bloke who clearly loves the club, but the injuries have killed us,plus there's some inexperience and naivety from the manager, which you will get with a rookie boss.
Question is, do we stick with him,or rip it up and start all over again ?
Plus he has hinted more than once now that everything isn't rosey behind the scenes, is that players or higher up ?
Either way if we lose on Sunday I think he will be gone, and I don't mean sacked.
This will make some on here ecstatic.

Benching Martha. Having a sit down with the players who he feels aren't puffing their chests out enough or remaining professional.

Clear the air, have a players union rep in if they isist but something has to be met head on and cleared quickly are we are going down.
2 key moments for me yesterday were McWilliams giving up when trying to keep up with Lisbie after about 10 mins and Etete trying some sort of weird scorpion kick volley instead of sticking his head on it.

Too many passengers. Not enough effort.

I think as a fan base we can accept not being good enough. But we cannot accept players not trying.

Yes the Etete whatever it was? It was oh so more easy to have headed the ball so why didn't he? As for McWilliams, he looked way off the pace all game not just that instance. He as though, to be fair, been out of it for several weeks so a little rusty maybe?

That's a bit harsh on Etete Scum, the ball was a yard behind him. The bloke in front of me, who maybe on MM as he was looking at posts yesterday during the game, did nothing but complain about everything Etete did whilst my rose tinted glasses feel he brings something to the team and has been involved in quite a few of our goals in his limited time on the pitch. He looks awkward and is not a natural goal scorer but he upsets opponents and tracks back to help the defence/midfield.

Rafferty was really pissed off with him about sommat. I think it was for trying a flick instead of holding it up but they kept chipping at each other for a few minutes just before half time.

Seen an interview with Robbie Fowler where, when asked if he would like to manage Rotherham, said he would certainly sort them out. One of the richest men in Liverpool he definitely doesnÂ’t need the money !

Skillfull management/coaching or simply new manager bounce with players that hated playing for SE despite many being hand picked by him. I'm sure many will say the latter, probably the ones who say our 9 game unbeaten run was lucky whilst refusing to see that some of our defeats have been unlucky (obviously some haven't) and refusing to see that we are in the midst of a Titanic sized injury crisis.

As Billy Ocean says, "When the going gets tough......". If he's given the chance and is still up for the challenge, the next 4-6 weeks will show if MH is a good manager/coach. Some want to give him the chance, others don't.
You are correct he started well last season but some important players from that squad have gone like Wilks. This is his team recruiting more than a full team in the summer, now his budget was less but has he used what he had well? I don't believe he has overall. The run of 9 games was a good achievement but except Lincoln at home how many of them did we play well in both halls, his team do seem incapable of two good 45 minutes performances. Also in the 9 games we were played off the park by Swindon. Injuries are a massive factor but I believe it is naive to believe it is all bad luck. I suspect if he is moved on a lot of these small injuries will disappear very quickly, that isn't uncommon. Now that doesn't speak well of the players but that is modern day football. Let me finish on a couple of positives, firstly Baptiste well done MH for finding him a talented player capable of playing along the back line. The players that faced the fans after the game, not easy to do that, especially Powell being abused by some that stayed, yet he turns out every game puts a shift in and came over to the stand signed autographs and did selfies. I think we have the basis of a team to get us out of the mess, we just don't have the management and coaching staff.

Matt Hamshaw hasn't had the best of luck with injuries BUT you have a squad of players for a reason. They're professional footballers who have been brought in and paid wages, to do a job. If there's a sound system of play in place - which you need at this level - then they should be capable of coming in and doing a job. However, if you have a fragile system that relies on one or two flair players, or have filled the bench with rubbish, it doesn't work. Either way, the manager has to take responsibility for that. Of course there are other issues, but wierd decisions like taking Reece James off and replacing him with Martha suggests there's no workable system and questionable recruitment.

This is a deep problem. The chairman promised us a state of the art training ground. The present facilities are lower non league standards at best. He also said he had plans for the decaying G&C monstrocity. The empty units around the club have not been developed as promised. The fans once again had to pay by far the highest season ticket price in this division. The exit strategy making home fans take the long trek round the council buildings while the away fans are not inconvenienced. It goes on and on and on.We are now on a long losing run with no signs of recovery. There is no plan at this club and never has been,we go from month to month just making the same old bad mistakes with no progression.A change of manager will make no difference.Hamshaw was brought in to try and cover up the mistakes made by the last manager,a very good friend of the chairman. However,he is finding it very difficult and we are now at a dilemma,it's unlikely TS will give him any money to strengthen this already depleted squad and does he care.Is he still on his cruise? If I was MH I would resign but I know he will have to forfeit his salary, probably one of the smallest in this league,,so that won't happen.I'd love to know what really happened with the American offer,a couple of years back, which collapsed at the eleventh hour.A number of sources said they were genuine people with really good forward thinking ideas.Unfortunately this deal fell through and we are left stagnating through with no desire at the top to improve anything. So sad and this is our centenary year.Nothing will change until we get new ownership.

Doesn?t make me wrong though does it?

A new owner could be a chancer that gambles on success whilst allowing the debt to grow

                          A Chansiri type

I actually agree with Grist on this. Be very careful what you wish for.

The Wrexham bubble will burst. It?s not sustainable.

Our bubble has been deflating for a number of years.TS got lucky when we had the success under Warney and PW realised that the club was going nowhere under this leadership.Warney did delay his move to Derby when the bid to take over the club looked to be going ahead and was prepared to stay, however that fell through.Alas we have, what we have and it's not looking very good at this moment in time.
