Good news for my health, I couldn't stand the thought of the last day before work being watching us lose again and hearing the same excuses. A big week for RUFC now, need players in at least two and TS lapdog needs to do well on the radio Wednesday show to lift the spirits. I would like to hear something regarding external input regarding injuries and training ground. These things are clearly at the heart of our issues, and it is irresponsible of the board to let the key element of the club grind to a halt because of it. Would TS sit by in his business if the operational core wasn't able to produce, no he wouldn't.

Gone are the days when putting a few bales of straw down did the trick.

Must be bad though because Donny and Sheff U's games are also off.

Sheffield United have undersoil heating but didn?t switch it on.
Wilder was complaining last week about the amount of games and player fatigue.

All the toytown tinpot clubs games are off whereas those with ambition who live in 2026 rather than 1976 are playing.
We are firmly in the first group.
Good news for Hamshaw standing on the trap door ? No

I'm not complaining Yak, I just suspect the club haven't tried too hard to make sure the game goes ahead for understandable reasons 🙂

Depending if their forwards were fit (JH & SN) I would have thought that Rotherham would have wanted this game on. Past records shows its nailed on for a home win, even with current form showing the opposite. Two really tough away league games up next Bradford & Stockport and Huddersfield in the FLT. Hard to see any positive result in those games, maybe a draw at Bradford.

The only 2 games in L2 that went ahead were early kick offs on Sky because Sky being along a tent that covers the pitch and fills with warm air.

It?s the only reason Lincoln was on as well.

But it also makes us an environmentally friendly club

No soil heating system so no energy unnecessarily used

There's very little incentive to play for a lot of clubs, and no punishment if they fail to get the pitch suitably prepared. Risk of injuries increases with fixture pile ups and cold weather, and likely the risk of "medical emergencies" in the stands. Even if there were drivers to get games on, pavement conditions in surrounding areas would still lead to some games being pulled.

There really is nothing for anyone to moan about for anyone, it's just weather.

(Except those of us who end up having to do jobs around the house, tip runs, etc because we've lost a reason to get out for a bit)
