  • O/T Oasis v The Libertines?

Noele G in football terms he's comparing his bands resurgence against the latter with managerless city rivals. Come back when he's written songs as good as " the milkman's horse " & " songs they never play on the radio " there's more on their last album released not so long back.

Both did one good album, and both did one album on which half is good. Clearly Oasis were the bigger draw, but neither could fill a good sized playlist.

Libertines last 2 albums took 4 songs off earlier one. Latest downloaded complete one not a filler on it.

Never really got into Oasis but always loved The Libertines since catching them at an early London gig soon after first album was released. They were electric on stage, not so much when I last saw them 3 or 4 years ago, but still really love their albums. Always thought they had quite a unique voice whereas Oasis seemed to rehash the Beatles done in the syle on Indie/Pistols. All down to taste though, although of course mine is superior.
