Lucky big bird.

My first guess gave me four yellows that allowed me to put in my (incorrect) second guess used in Monday's puzzle - which this time turned out to be the right answer! (Monday was SERIF.) They don't come much easier than that.

As I sometimes do, I did a post check on past Wordles and I would have probably had a 4 using that method. Interestingly I saw a note on there that as of February 2nd (fittingly as it's Groundhog Day) the NYT started reusing words. They also stated that when they notice this, the past Wordle list keepers remove it from their list and then add it back at the end of the day. That would explain why recently when we were discussing this, EM saw a different version of the list to me. He must have had a cached version or a non refreshed page on his device. Beware!
