The reason I ask is we have some friends coming over from the US and are spending some time in Scotland with them. I just realised that we are booked to be in Edinburgh the night of May 16th, the last day of the Premiership season. I guess that night it could be a very happy or a very sad place?

Being happy or sad in Edinburgh on 16 May will depend on which side of the city you support. Living in the east means we tend to support Hibs (plus Barlaser and Newell are there which helps), so prefer that Hearts don't finish top! If Hearts are successful, the city will end up very maroon. Might be a bit boisterous I am back in Edinburgh that weekend but will be out in East Lothian that night. Might be for the better!
