  • MillersMad Match Thread...Millers v AFC Wimbledon

It's a huge game for us this weekend and with a squad which is returning to fitness, it's time for the excuses to stop. Tony Stewart has been patient with Hamshaw so far and the manager must now repay that faith, starting on Saturday.

Very winnable game this one and I'm expecting a decent performance, 3 valuable points and an end to this absolutely honking run we're on.

Let us have your thoughts ahead of the game on Saturday, as well as your in play comments from 3pm.

    Enjoy it everyone and UTM.

A must win. A tense battle in front of us and if they score first then it will turn toxic for MH. That said, I predict a 2-1 win.

If Kelle Roos was playing for Wimbledon we might have scraped a draw. That said, one home win today would be very welcome. It's now a big ask to battle our way out of the bottom four in League One.
Not sure current team management will be good enough to steer us to safety.

We have to win anything else and MH needs to fall on his sword, even though it is very likely to be too late to swap manager and save us. I think we will play better but I have no faith in MH at all should have gone before 1st January

I'll be happy with anything but a defeat. A positive performance and 1 or 3 points is what we need to kick-start our reguard action.

With a better quality midfield we might see a better performance from our Leeds loanee.

I think Hamshaw said the game might come a bit too soon for Gore but we'll see. If that's the case (and we know he'll play a back 3) my starting 11 would be

                Dawson
                Kaleta Rafferty Agbaire Baptiste James
                Yearwood Powell
                Spence
                Gray Nombe

I'll be disappointed if he drops Yearwood, I think he's played well these last few games and deserves a start. For me if Kaleta puts a good shift in and can stay fit, then it's his shirt to lose on the right. Really don't want to see Holmes playing there, despite his endeavour he's nowhere near a L1 player.

Set off to ground from pub (Angel) had to come home, pulled a calf muscle, so missing the game, limped back to bus station.

He?s not helping our cause, that?s for sure. We?re having some bright moments but need more midfield creativity to get that much needed first goal.

A bit too hectic, resulting in balls forward which are more hopeful than certain. Powell and Spence are too similar, in that they want to

move the ball forward quickly. Sometimes better to look and think.
