We really needed that second goal during that four attempts scramble, but sadly it wasn't to be.
Disappointed with the booing from the kop, maybe if they put that much effort into actually encouraging the players....
Oh yes it’s now the fans fault. Booing is the main issue now.
Where is the MH millers mad cult tonight.
Surely you’ve all got loads to say about our dynamic play and the tactical genius.
No well what about the brilliant substitutions.
Come on tell us deluded idiots who dare to criticise were wrong.

Don't worry, they are never far away.

I've just listened to Bobo's post match interview and apparantly we should have been 3 or 4 up in the second half. FFS what is he on?

I backed the millers today ?20 @ 6/4. When hamshaw made the Kelly substitution I cashed out. As been posted. First 11 looked capable of getting us to 50 points. Subs only make is weaker

So, I assume all who are complaining today, were not doing so when as pointed out, we were 1-0 up with different players. If those subs were forced, then the vitriol which is being written is in part unwarranted.

I am neither in favour or against. There is more in play here than a manager.

I think the nail on the head there. No manager willingly starts changing a leading side that early in the half unless has to.

Yes I was complaining in the first half because his tactic of moving all players away from the keeper when he has the ball to boot it long down the middle when we have forwards that don’t play that way. Add to that how slow we are to get the ball back in play when we get a throw in, we always look like we do not know what to do. We deserved our goal second half but do not forget they missed a sitter in the first half from four yards, we started bright but faded because we are slow to move the ball and make too many mistakes when the opposition presses us. For 15 mins in the second half we played well

We didn?t lose, so he now knows that his record as the manager that led us to the worst string of results at this level stands at seven. Martha wasn?t as bad as previously when he came on. Jules was excellent and showed why recruiting another center back was pointless, a player that MH has told the local press he is happy to see move on this week!! We see yet again that playing three at the back is a disaster when other teams play fast wide players, because there is often a gap behind the wing backs for them to exploit. They did and crossed and his CB agbaire lost his man and they score from a cross and simple header. We play two good forwards in gray and nombe, they like it to feet or for them to run onto wide, so our coaches yet again plays the ball long in the air down the middle all the first half. When we start to play the ball on the floor or down the wings we score and look good, not hard Matt. The subs were forced on him, Kaleta got a knock and signaled to the bench ten minutes before he went off and Spence was forced off with cramp or another injury, same with Nombe. However it is MH that decided to sent Ayres out and you cannot tell me that Ayres would be worse than Hugill for 15 minutes, how slow was Hugill to move to that chance at the near post? No idea why yearwood went off I assume it is an injury he did ok, not brilliant but ok. Being he knew he would have had to take kaleta and Spence off before the end, due to their current fitness, why not plan for that and have yearwood on the bench to come on and start with Martha wide like he did in the second half. Our players are not fit and recovering from injuries doesn?t appear to be very good, so we have a failing manager a failing coach and a failing fitness coach, a COO that doesn?t seem to know what is happening and a chairman that doesn?t seem bothered. Remember we have been told by PD that neither the manager or fitness coach have raised as an issue the fact we do not have full time physios helping players stay fit or recover, and yet our key players cannot last a full game. As for the times we played well today it was 10 mins at the start of the first half and 15 mins at the start of the second, so 25 mins out of 100 mins, in a game we really had to win. 25% of the game we did wel but as I said at the start, the good news is we did not lose.
Impossible to read. Put some breaks in. friendly advice.

Another field day for the Bring Back Warnock/ Evans brigade.

Much better performance today than recently. The team worked hard, but the lack of game minutes showed.

We had the better chances; they had the one.

                  We will stay up.

But the 'glass half empty' brigade will want otherwise, just to 'prove' that they know better.

We are crying out for a big forward up front. Kaleta did better played on the right but he's not a defender in a front 3 you'd get more from him. Subs brought on yesterday Agbaire McWilliams Kelly Hugill weakened us. Martha wasn't much better. Duncan J Holmes Hatton preferred. If Hamshaw won't go to 4-3-3 get a manager in who will. Spence Gore Powell midfield 3 Hatton 1st change there.

I'd said I'd be happy with a point but in the end I was disappointed not to come away with 3.

The key question for me is 'Were Kaleta and Gray unable to continue due to injury or fatigue?' If the answer is no, then MH made a catastrophic error in subbing them. We went from the team most likely to win to the team that would inevitably concede.

I saw enough yesterday to suggest that we can get out of this mess. However, in order to achieve that, Kelly, McWilliams and Hugill have to be kept as far away from the playing surface as possible!

I found it poor game between 2 poor teams.

We had them on the ropes when we scored but didn?t get that knock out blow.

We need to look after the ball in wide areas better and get fecking stuck in.

I don?t think I?ve ever known us to be so soft centred.

Lets be clear. He didnt have to make all those changes. Nombe, yes but not the reconfiguration of the team. That was because he is "managing their minutes". Despite a few on here being happy with a point - FFS, open your eyes by the way - yesterday was a MUST win. We were coasting at 1-0 and would have won that match with just Nombe being replaced. But no, Bobo was trying to be clever and it backfired massively.

We should have focussed on yesterday, banked the 3 points, build some confidence and then worried about Tuesday night thereafter. Now however, we have lost 2 points, the teams confidence has taken another blow and have an even bigger mountain to climb. Incredibly stupid and arrogant management.

MH said that Gray had beenpoorly last week and was exhausted. Plus he's new to the intensity of this level of football.Kaleta likewise is still returning from injury, ran himself crazy in the 20 mins after half time and his legs had gone. You could see them both, and Nombe struggling as that 20 minute period of intensity took it's toll on them. Surely you could see that keeping any of these three on wasn't an option, unless you want to put them in danger of long term injhury?

All the pro MH brigade have is blind faith and calling other posters names, like children in a playground.

I do not want Evan’s or Warnock, my point is MH is proving himself to lack the ability to manage at this level. He has the record for the worst run of results in RUFC history at this level.

I do agree we played better than in recent games, it was not hard to do that was it, those other games were abysmal.

Please tell us what it is you see in us at the moment that makes you think we will stay up? Which four teams are worse than us at the moment? Remember we have to improve out level across 20 games, and perform like a midtable team around 11th or 12th.

                                Dawson, decent
Rafferty, position doesn't suit, constantly doubling up with others, not his best game despite effort
                                Jules, good game
                                James, reasonable performance
Powell, worked his arse off, no issues
Spence, like Powell, lots of graft
Nombe, was everywhere but didn't offer much threat
Kaleta, effort was fine but a few mistakes
                                Baptiste, solid performance, getting better
                                Yearwood, forgettable
Gray, one of our better players, lots of holding up, neat balls off/through, set up up what may have been a goal had referee not guessed at a handball

Chaotic game in large spells, some real lower end of L1 stuff, largely killed by yet another 'never played a game' ref who wanted to break play every thirty seconds. First half was pretty even, we should have killed it in the second with some of the good play.

Hamshaw absolutely at fault for the timing and volume of subs. Nombe may have been a necessary change, but the rest were clearly a 'hold on to the points' effort and it backfired quickly (as it very often does). We were in control, had attacking options, back line was comfortable... subs changed all of that. The minute they scored I knew we'd got a point at most.

We. Need. To. Show. More. Confidence.
Back the lads - fans and management alike, they're clearly capable but just as MH needed to trust them to bring it home yesterday, the fans need to be more behind them. The stands yesterday after we scored were, frankly, awkward. Barely any celebrating at all in my section, and the noise very quickly died down. When we got going yesterday we were streets ahead of them, but the energy around the place isn't right. I hope we start a game kicking the other way just to try to get that bit of life into them earlier on, going at our kop end.
