Think the big un got leam Richardson the sack. Was common knowledge Tony Stewart wanted his pal back but he had Stevenage in a nice position in the league. Once Stevenage had no chance of promotion the phone rang and leam was on his bike. Would it have been any different if the results under Richardson were better, who knows. But leam Richardson never stood a chance as the yellow tied one always wanted his pal back.

yes and no. Would we have gone down under Evans? No, would we be in this mess under him? No, was it a bad decision to remove him when we did? No, not really we were playing poorly and his signings werent working out. Said it before and will say it again a thousand times, the turning point was not securing Michael Smith to a longer term deal during the season. If he had stayed, we would have been fine and I think we would have stood a chance to have kept Warne and his squad together.
The club have always backed the wrong man at the wrong time. Giving Taylor the money to sign Nombe & Tiehi along with the fortune he wasted on wages wad a disaster that we are still paying for. Imagine what Warne would have done with the same investment.

Crowds seem to get managers sacked here Richardson & Evans had lost them. It was his assistant Kelly when he was here I couldn't see what he was doing here when the latter was manager here.

See Richardson he's got another assistant manager in with Kelly at Reading.

The question should be why was he brought back in the first place and should he have been?

A resounding no. All of the players he brought in bar the odd exception, were way below the std, age, injury free requirements needed.

Replying in case anyone at NYS has the remotest notion to bring him back.

Even Powell misfires too often like an engine on three cylinders. I’d rate Joe as top, at least he seems to give his all bless him.
Perhaps edged by James, unless defending.

No, the appointment of Evans compounded the Taylor mess. ( been a very long three seasons )
