  • Is Jordan Hugill's careeer over with RUFC?

A bad injury by all accounts that may see him never to wear the shirt again for us, sad ending really after so much promise when he first arrived and how he has lessened/waned over two seasons.

I will await the comments accordingly.....

Duplicating threads. Already said that. But don't think I count on here.

I wish him well and hope he recovers but he just hasn?t - despite turning out regular been what our expectations of him were.

      Good luck J

Great player, will miss him. Didn?t he play once when he had a cold ?

Sad way to finish his time with us if it happens to be that bad. He?s always given his all, regardless of his shortcomings at times. Go well Jordan, whatever the outcome, and thanks for all of your effort and commitment

I hope he recovers and then in the summer moves on and allowing us to spend the money a little better, assuming we have a similar budget

Why would anyone think we will have a similar budget? Only new ownership will/can provide that.

The Matt Taylor reign set us on a downward spiral that we're clearly struggling to snap out of. Imagining funds are going to be released because an overpaid player is leaving, (who joined us when we were in the Championship) isn't realistic. It's not going to happen.

The budget has already been halved and without any external investment it is down to go down again. Watch this space as they say!

I do hope that Hugill recovers and plays again.

                    Frog, I've heard the rumours.

I'm merely pointing out the saving on Hugills current wages when he leaves will not be part of any playing budget for next season. It's money the club don't have. End of.

This season Jordan has stepped up when everybody else was injured, so thanks for that, but he was a very limited striker, who should have been better than he was.
                      Good luck in the future.

Some of us do not have access to rumours or information that you might have, or spend your time researching. I was just wishing him well and being hopeful that the removal of a higher paid player might still allow us to bring in an appropriately costed replacement for whichever league we are in. If my hope is misplaced, then so be it.

You won't get me dissagreeing with you on the size of his wages. I think that as a forrud he has not had the best time with us. He has had a fantastic career and I wish him well.

I didn?t wish him ill on an injury, just glad his time is nearly up. Effort and commitment? Please don?t make me laugh. Three games, WBA, QPR and one I cannot remember?.all old clubs. Only time he was really bothered.

Only problem is we are a body short. Not that it matters, tactics and play have been short up front with him in it this and last season.

Sadly, unless this vastly overrated and paid player does the decent thing and leave by mutual consent, we won’t be able to replace him, due to one wage saved, one started….only in his case, pays for god only knows how many.

Not because the club won’t spend period.
