  • O/T Friday night is music night

Thought I'd resurrect this seeing how I'm bored waiting for the transfer news to roll in.....

Let's kick it off with liddle old Lulu....watching the video brought it all back and how good an actor Sidney Poitier came to be. Dies at a grand old age of 95.

Can't believe a mere lad at 17 years old could sing like that....still a great catchy tune after all these years.

Guess a lot of us on here can relate to the title......sit back one day by yourself and take 10 -15 minutes to see how you've progressed to where you are now......amazing what memories you come up with....

One of the most easy listening songs you'll ever come across, timeless, soothing and one of my all time favourites.

Keep a look out for Gino as I believe Richard Jobson is a relative.

As it applied to me I always liked Working for the Yankee Dollar.

Way before Fleetwood Mac but it has all the same sounds /beats they produced.....also Pete Ham an uncanny sound of Eric Clapton...

A lady for a change. Elkie is still going strong and often tours. Visits Sc.unthorpe of all places each year, keep threatening to go and see her ....I suppose I'd better she won't be singing forever. What a voice though and as a young man when this came out I thought she was very appealing....
