A few things are happening at once, and lines get blurred.

Most of those you mention (and the cohort around them) don't admire Trump. Nobody with a three digit IQ admires Trump. They just see him as a convenient pathway to money and connections, and being the sort of people they are, integrity is meaningless so they'll follow whoever gets them what they want. Trump is largely incidental.

What happens in the US today happens here tomorrow.... hmm, in some ways, yes. Weather systems find their way here (often less severe, but there are patterns). Cultural trends, yes. Food, yes (ish). Politics, this is less about America and more about the impact of internet culture - everything gets more binary, people feel they need a 'side' with everything, an opinion on anything. That's not Trump or the US, it's just a sh**e side effect of the internet.

The growth (and more recently, steady decline) of UKIP/Reform (even the tw@meister is confused on this) flares up because of the press, not because of the US or Trump. There are connections, overlaps, etc, but we'd never allow anyone to have enough control to implement ICE or anything similarly ridiculous in the UK.

My guess is that Farage will see his popularity dwindle before the next election, Johnson will get drafted in, and we'll have a hung parliament. If the worst were to happen, and we somehow let the disgruntled minority out-vote those who can be arsed to vote for anything a bit less ridiculous, we'd see the biggest car crash in UK political history. The small boats issue will remain because it's not a simple fix (despite any claims to the contrary) and then Reform will need to 'fix' other issue, at which point half of the dickheads who voted them in will realise their benefits are getting stopped. Mid-term chaos, change of leadership, voted out with a massive majority somewhere between Lab/Con. In the meantime, the pound (amid the carnage) will be worth the lowest we've ever seen.

We're not the US. Our days of trying to take over islands is behind us. Our population, for its faults, wouldn't accept Trumpian nonsense as freely as the bible belt does.

Sad desperation Giddy.We have a corrupt,sleeze ridden government that is imploding.How bad has it got to get?Inflation up,unemployment up.energy bills sky high,cost of leaving out of control,crime up,illegal migants coming over at record levels,still waiting for the rape gang enquiry that's been covered up for far too long and on and on .They have lied and lied and lied,totally clueless how to run a country and the economy is getting shattered.
