  • O/T New Wetherspoons to Visit

Fancy a visit to a new Wetherspoons pub.
Monday 9th February Wetherspoons opened a new official pub in Alicante Airport in Spain.

There is a Weatherspoons ( spelt different ) in Marmaris Turkey, which I have had a few drinks in, but not a official Wetherspoons.
Wetherspoons owner Tim Martin, branching out to another country, where next.

As long as they don't get to Thurcroft! Only ever been in one once if that was beer I must have been drinking something else since I was 18!

ELK I've heard a rumour, that's all, that the old Odeon on Corporation Street is to become a new Spoons, have you heard anything similar? A massive building if it is to become one.

Not heard owt Brin, I did contact Wetherspoons when the Mecca bingo closed.
But has we now know different plans with the buildings in that area.
Last Wednesday in Wath Churchouse, 5% Abbott beer for 1 pound 49 pence for a pint.
With Caspers beer tickets, it was 99 pence a pint.

I can't see Wetherspoons opening a pub in Thurcroft. Even Wetherspoons have standards.

            (joke! calm down!)

Seems to me that you wouldn?t know. Spoons has A LOT wrong with it, but a range of decent beers isn?t one of them.

He dropped off quite a few beer tickets to my home last week.
He's in hospitality for the Donny game, plus 1 more I believe, he's got to much money.

                          Been reading Brin,
Mecca bingo in Rotherham, is a Grade 11 listed building, so is getting a make over.
Never know it may become a wetherspoons.
