    Despite him being a Swinton Comp. waller I wish Gino a speedy recovery. I never doubted he wrote the lyrics as they target the halcyon days from those born around the time he was along with a good majority on here. I just didn't recognise it as his voice.

    How would that song appeal to today's new and tomorrow's future fans? To put it in perspective, it refers to events 45 years ago. When we all started watching the Millers, going back 45 years would have been to a time before RUFC even existed.

      Granted it's an enhanced voice over many artists use today. I instantly thought of Lewis Capaldi/Ed Sheeran. However, the main point of the song was to rekindle memories of the past of which it has to many on here.

      Like you say, the youngsters of today won't relate to much if any of the lyrics but, it has lifted many a spirit on here and that's what it was created to do, well done Gino.
