  • The next two games

I think the next two games are critical for the clubs chances of survival this season, yes bad results could be less important if we went on a great run after but the chances of that occurring become worse, with each passing game and hits two defeats would do to the players confidence level.

With Gore and Powell out, Spence still playing whilst taking injections and Benson only just returning (he wont be match fit) we are up against it. With us taking 7 points in the last 4 games then two draws is the very minimum we can take. That would be 9 points from 6 games which is 1.5 points a game, if we did that the rest of the season that would be 22.5 points (round up to 23) which is 54. The latest supercomputer predictions indicates that 53 points might be required this season, which is very high.

The injuries are obviously a major issue, but clubs have to manage them and with availability being such an important factor in all football clubs success these days, it should be a top priority for those that run the club, to ensure fitness and injury avoidance and recovery are top of their list when running a club - over to you new director.

However, MH can't come out and play that card again if we lose on Tuesday, I think these two games are his "last straw" games, it would be very difficult for anyone to defend retaining him as manager if these two critical games don't get the right results.

I hope we can get 4 points from them and then get Gore & Powell back asap and build on that to stay up.
It is all down to MH and his management team now, I would think he knows that and statements about not knowing why the performance was the way it was and why players don't take onboard instructions, won't cut it if the results aren't what is required. These are just my views I am sure others will have other opinions.

When you're in the relegation zone, every game is massive, but games against a team near us are the ones you must avoid losing.
So we need 4 points from the next 2 at least, we've also got to play other teams in the sh*t,so our destiny is on our hands.

We have got to play a solid 90mins every game not one good half one bad half, midfield light weight so play a back 4. 4-5-1 for me.

I think we have to go into these games with a don't lose mentality and set up to be difficult to break down. We have lost two of our ball winners in midfield, players that hassle and close people down. So build on the strengths of the players we do have, don't play them out of position and use the pace of Nombe, watmore and the skills of Gray, Benson and the man utd lad to catch them on the break. Please do not start with 3 at the back and with Martha, he is not the sort of player we need in these games.

With powell and gore out, esp the latter, Hamshaw has to change formation and how we set up. If he does not, and lets face it, he will not, then we are going to see more of the same last game.

No question. The evidence is too strong. Incoming players, bar gray, are just making the numbers up unless they show their quality and get up to speed very quickly.

This really is not rocket science. And do not expect Benson to play for long.

Warnock would play Gore to get him fit! Our midfield without him looks lightweight to say the least. Got to hope deadline day signings get up to speed by next Tuesday to have some impact during the game.

I thought Hamshaw said Gore would be back for the Burton game? He's not broken anything just soreness from the clattering he got from that dirty Exeter player.

I honestly think we will win against Burton and draw against Donny although I would prefer the other way round! Then wwe will batter Plymouth!

Would love to see a win over Donny on the day. I'm officially a pensioner on the very same day and that would be a great birthday present. Plus it would help towards staving off relegation.

On X Paul Davis Hamshaw says Gore feels fine it's just if someone comes into contact with his shoulder. Think in our situation we should throw caution aside & take the risk!

                        That is positive!

The way the opposition target Gore is amazing and the best example of that is the Blackpool game. Unfortunately he will be attacked all his career but it is great how well he knows how to look after himself at such a youg age.

I do hope to see him at the highest level!

Zero faith that the coach can do anything but his usual uninspiring system.
Be lucky to get 1 point.
