I certainly won't be renewing mine if MH is the manager in L2 next season.

The club and the manager don?t care about the supporters.
Sad but true we are just a consequence of the jobs they don?t do well.

I'll put 100 quid up on us securing at least 4,000 season ticket sales if we end up in L2 - 80% of the supposed current number (Hospice takes all). There's always a lot of talk this time of year about people stopping, but the addiction kicks in when they start the renewals.

That one decision has cost us infinitely more than what it would have cost to have kept Smudge.

How much did Taylor & Evans waste? Susbsequently how much has MH wasted - failure to invest when we were on the up has caused all of this.
Been said quite a few times, that letting Michael Smith leave the club, was a mistake.
I would have had him back now, but under contract at Preston until June 2027.s
Paul Warne left the club, which was logic in the sense he went to a better club, in which he had better facilities, training ground, backing of a chairman.
Paul Warne left the Millers in a decent place in the league table, I think he saw that he could go no further with the Millers.
To TS selling the club, ideal time was when Warne left us, in the championship & a ideal position in the league.
Now fighting a relegation battle in league 1 so the club not worth as much.

Better players like Vaulks & Rathbone than Smith leaving all add to our demise. Will or should happen again but not this motley squad assembled by Hamshaw with little or no sell on value. In fact think some think we'd struggle to give them away!

I don't particularly get the people who say they won't go watch. Whatever league we're in, whether it's the championship or national league north I'll be watching Rotherham, no matter the owner, the players, or the manager, because ultimately I'm a Rotherham United fan and that's what I do.

I?m a fan too but I?m not a mug. The club are accepting relegation so to that point I?ll spend time with my grandchildren. It?s just more enjoyable

Good for you. My 2 granddaughters wonÂ’t be subjected to that ****e.
IÂ’m happy if people question my loyalty IÂ’m comfortable with my commitment to supporting the team over the years. MH doesnÂ’t deserve any more loyalty from me if people think thatÂ’s wrong I literally donÂ’t give a toss seeing as I havenÂ’t asked for the opinion. Not aimed at you Bramley I mean generally.

                      Jesus christ.

No one is questioning your loyalty, no one is interested in your loyalty. If you want to go then go, if not then don't.

                      I guarantee no one gives a ****.

But does that not tell you one thing when fans like Yak call it a day there’s something wrong are do you just close your eyes & let the club & players take the piss.

                            Completely agree.

The investment Taylor had would have gone further under Warne.

Warne had gone through the up and down cycle and been subject to enough abuse that he knew he wouldn't want to go through it again and likely would not be kept on as manager in that situation.

Smith leaving, the lack of a like for like offer to someone as capable I think was the last thing he needed to be like "I'll always be poorly equipped to survive at this level, time to go and leave while stock is high".

The seed was planted in his post Gillingham interview if you listen to it closely, he talks about leaving without saying he was going to.

The lack of backing Warne had.... Compared to Taylor in his second year is what ultimately, I think, broke TS enthusiasm for it.

That squad had been together long enough and so close to staying up so many times had we just had that extra player or two or a little more firepower that we would have been able to survive.

In hindsight how many of the PA out brigade now realise they were wrong I wonder?

People don't tend to have the local pub name tattooed on them, nor travel up and down the country to see the bar staff. I get your point, but many folk have a very different relationship with their football club.
