Rob Statton- manipulating Rafferty into talking about his ambition to be a manager.

    Naughty , Naughty Rob

Surprised official site have allowed that interview to come out

Rob is just an egotistical jerk.
Shouts down anyone he doesn?t agree with. Ego bigger than his IQ.

Would Rafferty player manager for rest of the season be that bad a call?

I would be happy if he was played in his best position each week

It is never easy to be interviewed when things are not good. What was interesting was MH answering the question on why what they do on the training pitch hasn’t been seen on the pitch. His response was to mention the fans, the pitch and injuries at no time did he volunteer that it might be his decisions or tactics.
Also When asked about the manager Rafferty did very well to avoid giving a direct answer, neither backing him or criticising him

Quite right, right back. In the dressingroom.

Had to laugh when our esteemed manager bemoaned the lack of long term planning at the club. Don't waste your breath son. What you should be doing is winning the next game and putting a bit of fire in the bellies of the lightweights you've signed.
You haven't earned the right to think about the mid term never mind the long term future.

He's a solid right back who's struggled playing three feet either side of that role, so would I trust him to lead from the dugout...? Probably not

Typical "want sacking" talk. From the Premier League down, the minute they want out they criticise the club's ambition.

Well if we lose tomorrow he won't have to wait long

My thoughts exactly, but I'm pretty surprised he's here after Tuesday. Heading into an extremely packed schedule, we may regret the timing if we dither on the replacement.
