  • Injury time again

Yet more carrying or being injured. A poster has had his or her say who would strengthen the side by being left out.

Unfortunately, we are actually without many players either injured or who would come on and play half fit.
Frankly, I cannot see a team to put out if we excluded a number of players. So we will hardly get the “best” side out.

Look at facts, known or self evident as far as possible. And see what kind of problems there are.

Dawson. Hamshaw who will not demote to bench is unfortunate. Name on sheet a given.

    Defenders.
Agbaire, still not fit I assume.
    Douglas, out.
Jules, injured, trots about in games, then tweaks a hamstring.

Ade who is very inexperienced has to play.
Given the above cannot play, what the heck do we do?
Harrison? I am assuming MH will not play him.

I expect both will have to play in a 4. Or only plays Ade in a three with usual suspects, that is dicey in the extreme!
We do not have anyone else!

    Midfield.
Williams is walking wounded again. Weakened beyond for a while.
Gore is a risk or he would have been on bench.
    Powell? No word of.
    Benson?.45 min man.
    Yearwood.
    Spence.
    Martha. Not much help there.
We are desperately weak in midfield.

We really are only have 2.5 strikers unless the third can play a 90.

Other incoming are playing bit parts, just bodies covering.

Other posters can talk all they like, R66, etc, about who not to play to strengthen. The point is who to PLAY to strengthen. We are limited. Leave out and we will not have a team.

How many injuries would there be if we were in the tip 3 or 4 ?

Note. Hamshaw was for weeks openly stating having to play who is fit.

He is going to have to do it again…..patience is required when he names the team for bradford and probably saturday.

Hall, Hugill, Kayode, Powell, Douglas, Kaleta. Possibly Raggett.

I assume I understand your point, and I've though the same for some time.

Well mate, you are assuming we have some bullet dodgers.

The only dodger I would have bet on was Hugill, but he seemed to have stopped that playing with an ankle then a broken nose. Perhaps his conscience played up?

I will edit that. He may well have never been fit enough. Age.

The way the thread is being taken, I would suggest Warne is hired immediately at whatever cost. With him he did not bring in dodgers and the one I remember was dealt with. A young player.

It is Taylor and Evans we have to thank for the implied dodgers by the other poster. I do not know of any proof.

Can we focus on the best available to play? As it almost picks itself.

                  McCann
Rafferty James Ade Harrison. I actually don’t think H is a risk as much as a 3 of the others.
                  Spence Yearwood benson cover
                  Gray behind Nombe

We could bring Watmore off the bench, some may play instead of Gray. It is the start variable. I would start with Gray, he is more mobile, and on saturday he was wide which was a waste.

We do not have any options other than anyone else injured returning.

Where's Baptist? Harrison Duncan I'd trust before Adeboyega. Can't have Yearwood in midfield. Gray these aren't the games for loanie kids. Cann too much of a risk stay with Dawson.

This has to be a wind up, patience......when are we actually allowed to judge him in your book?

You only needed the first sentence Derby. That summed it up.

Baptise. I cannot figure him out. Another Martha.
I suggest you go watch the full replay of the last two games. Watch how he gives up running down the shot, covering the clown Dawson, you deem not a risk. Baptise, if he had just kept on running would have should have blocked that equaliser.

Too many players are relying on others. Baptise and Dawson are not immune, like Jukes, they are not performing.

Some of these players are having a laugh.

We simply do not have much choice on players again. And the manager is too frightened to play some of them.

                            As indeed some posters are….

If we are to go down, go down with players who try.
