I'd have Dawson back in goal. Cann doesn't look ready that's if he ever will be. Made hard work of a routine save 2nd half Saturday showed he isn't. After that starting 11 picks itself that's if Jules is fit. Yearwood Gore Benson midfield 3. Watmore Nombe Gray 3 up front.

Er he kept a clean sheet and deserves his place, nothing merits Dawson returning other than Cann getting injured, Dawson has had numerous chances and arguably should have been dropped a while ago

In reply to Gru,was the first time I'd seen Cann and he did ok,one small handling error, but far too early to tell if he's any good, judge after 5 or 6 games.
If Dawson was playing I've no doubt you'd be wanting Cann in goal, or maybe some 14 year old who's never played.
Another must win game, if we are to stay up,then an unbeaten run is the only way this will happen.

Want us to stay up that means having your best keeper available starting to me that's Dawson.

The gaffer should know which players are ready to go, and the XI needs to be as many of Saturday's starters as possible. If they're fit and mentally right, none of them should miss out.

This is a very winnable game, and that could have us out of the bottom four tonight. Unthinkable recently, but heading into some tough fixtures we really need to be operating at the top of that pile rather than 23rd.

Be good to see a few more seats filled tonight, both the season ticket part-timers and the occasionals.

Yes we could climb above the relegation bottom four.I think he will probably start with same eleven with Jules coming in to replace our latest injury. We have the players to get us out of this mess,it's just using them in the right way.A win tonight and it will increase the confidence factor.Should be a good atmosphere and let's get behind a team that is playing a better brand of football with the creative players we now have.Come on you Millers.

Rotherham United and Mansfield Town have met 68 times since their first encounter on Boxing Day 1932, a match Rotherham won 3–0 with goals from Frank Wheeler, Albert Pynegar, and Walter Spicer. Although some sources list this fixture as being played on 27 December, the result marked the beginning of a long-running fixture in which Rotherham have traditionally held the upper hand.

Their home record against Mansfield is quiet strong, with Rotherham winning 59% of all home meetings (20 matches), drawing 32% (11), and losing 9% (3). Rotherham have averaged 2.06 goals per game compared to Mansfield’s 1.09.

The highest attendance at home to Mansfield came in 1948 when 20,522 supporters watched a 2–1 Rotherham win in the old Third Division North, with Wally Ardron and Harry Mills scoring for the Millers and Roy Cooling replying for Mansfield. In contrast, the lowest attendance came in the Football League Trophy in December 1986, when just 1,317 spectators saw a 1–1 draw with goals from Gareth Evans after 8 minutes and Mansfield’s Jeff Chandler on 33 minutes.
Across all home fixtures against Mansfield, Rotherham have averaged an attendance of 6,682.

                  In The Dugouts
Mansfield Town manager Nigel Clough's record opposing Rotherham Utd: Pld 10, won 5, drawn 1, lost 4
                  Derby County W0 D0 L1
                  Sheffield United W1 D0 L0
                  Burton Albion W2 D0 L2
                  Mansfield Town W2 D1 L1
Matt Hamshaw's record against Mansfield: Pld 2, drawn 1, lost 1
I think that most people old enough on here will know of Nigel Clough's dad Brian Clough. His 13 goals scored for Middlesbrough and Sunderland against Rotherham puts him in joint second place alongside John Charles (Leeds United) and Maurice Wellock (Darlington & Halifax Town) with scoring the most goals against Rotherham United.

Question is, who's gonna turn up tonight with a hunger to win the game?
                      Mansfield are no slouches.
However, we've just proved that we can battle hard and win a match in good style.

No worries Frog. I don't really have the time to put together the write ups I used to do though.

Same starting 11 as Saturday, other than Jules for Odegboyega and Gore in place of Benson. The latter isn't even on the bench so I'm assuming he's injured again.

                            FFS!
