He has little chance, as Ronnie says the players are not capable and have no interest in a scrap. 19 of those players this season have been MH players. As stated in the YP the injury problems have been around a few years and that is down to the club not recruiting properly and not managing the playing assets properly. So in answer to the question what did we want when MH was removed, I wanted the club to deal with it's failings in those areas, to bring in an experienced manager at this level who got the January window to adjust the squad and to give us a chance of staying up. MH needed to go in December when his poor decision making especially in-game decision making was plain for all to see. Getting rid of him now is nothing but a gesture to angry fans and therefore the appointment of Clark for 9 games makes perfect sense. TS leadership has been shocking in the last few years, surrounded by inept management and you reap what you sow.

The only thing with Exeter is that they have a lot of games against teams down at the bottom, so if they are losing the teams around us are winning.

Sat, 21 Mar Wigan Athletic v Exeter City
Sat, 28 Mar Exeter City v Leyton Orient
Fri, 3 Apr Blackpool v Exeter City
Mon, 6 Apr Exeter City v Doncaster Rovers
Sat, 11 Apr Plymouth Argyle v Exeter City
Sat, 18 Apr Exeter City v Stockport County
Sat, 25 Apr Burton Albion v Exeter City
Sat, 2 May Exeter City v Bradford City

Things can change very quickly. Orient have been struggling this year and looked destined to drop into the relegation zone. However, they've just strung 3 straight wins together and they're now sitting pretty (relatively)!

Where's TS in all that's going on in Aldi, what with the resignation of MH and appointment of LC? Who actually pulled the trigger where MH is concerned?
          Who appointed LC?
Someone must have personally authorised the appointment of LC.
Has anyone at RUFC made a statement that we as a club will be playing League One football next season? The bizarre appointment of LC doesn't fill me with much confidence. He's no Neil Warnock by any stretch of the imagination.
Are we as RUFC football supporters wasting our time?
No fans forum and a no show from TS.

Oh, and before I go back into a darkened room, sit down and give my head a wobble, we must remember that we will find it tough in League Two if we were to be relegated. However, there's every chance that we might suddenly go on a winning streak if some players suddenly improve on their form and match fitness.

I'm now off to have a head wobble.
          It helps me to sleep.

See you at the next game.

I agree with everything you say Derby apart from the bit about the appointment of Clark making "perfect sense."
It seems to me to be a bizarre move by the club to give the job to someone who hasn't managed in England for a few years and then expect him to give us a fighting chance of staying up.
I have a vision of Rob Scott sitting in a darkened room with a pin in his hand and sticking it in a list of unemployed managers. He then phones Tony Stewart with a name only to be told "have another go lad and make sure it's cheaper."

Who brought Ayres back? Strange how as soon as Hamshaw he's gone then he returns.

I've just listened to the interview with Rob Staton on Radio Sheffield and LC said pretty much what you'd expect from a new manager.
However the first half of the discussion was with Paul Douglas and I found it incredibly depressing.
That guy is just TS's poodle and is so out of touch with reality that it's hard to see where the club goes from here with people like him in senior positions.

If and it?s a big if ! he keeps us up he?ll no doubt be here nxt season if he can stick it.

But just as likely methinks he may be off once he sees how it all plays out from the top

An utterly baffling appointment. You really couldn't make it up. Unless he's just keeping the seat warm for someone like Revs or Clough.

As an aside Prince Charles allegedly once visited Rotherham many moons ago. When he arrived he was wearing a rather large hat made from red fur.
The Mayor of Rotherham eventually plucked up the courage to ask the Prince about his headgear.

"Oh that", Prince Charles replied. "I told my dad that I was visiting Rotherham and he said, Wear the fox hat."

The reason why I say it makes perfect sense is because it has baffled everyone. 1. They had to appoint before Saturday as we have only 9 games in 44 days. 2. No established manager would touch it, same reason as number 1 and we are 6 points ( 2 wins) away from safety 3. It is a short term decision, they have time to formulate a plan for next season. Remember they are clueless and haven't had a plan since PW left. 4. Appointing quickly deflects away from them.

By the way how bad is PD? I know I get stick and accused of being obsessed with him, but I point him out because he is SO bad it is embarrassing, I wouldn't let him run a bath never mind be the COO of a football club.
