Open honest and very genuine that's the Matthew Hamshaw I've always known.

Maybe Frog will now spill and tell all of the behind scenes we all knew nothing about?

Wrong man for the job imo.
Wish him well he gave it a go and tried his best he deserves respect for that. Time to move on.

        Nice letter.
Think we are all sad it didn’t work out.
All the best to him for the future.

That's a classy letter, particularly given that the bloke wrote it when had just lost his job.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of his tenure, he clearly cares about the club and as Rocket said, he deserves respect for that.

I wish him well for the future.

Mr Nice writes a nice letter.

            That was his downfall

Best of luck to Matt for the future, sorry it didn’t work out but personal abuse to him and his family is not worth any job,
maybe he can try for a job higher up the food chain as a coach as he alluded to in his Peterborough match interview, one where there
isn’t as much scrutiny and pressure

Love the way that some fans are saying there was nothing personal about the personal abuse they dished out.

A pity some of our "fans" can't show as much class.
Hopefully some of changes he's made won't be chucked in the bog.

That will happen at nearly every club in the country. There will be a small fraction that take it further than they should.Don't try and single out our fans as being worse than anybody else.

Plain to see hes a Miller, just didn?t work for him - he did make some odd decisions.

Genuine nice fella - I wish him all the best in whatever he does next.

                      Good luck 👍

Classy response to the sack. Respect for that Hammy.

The time had clearly come for him to depart but I wonder what any manager would do with this volume of recurring injuries. I have a feeling that the same thing will happen with this group of players whoever is the manager, although it becomes a vicious circle, losing breeds stress, breeds confidence loss, breeds over stretching, breeds injuries. Hope Clark can provide a lift and new ideas but we just have too much youth and inexperience at the core of the side.

                        Good luck Lee.

Bill, I don't think Jocks was singling our fans out for being the worst at all.

The question that needs asking is why did ANY of our so called fans turn it into personal abuse? Totally uncalled for.
It makes you wonder how their minds work at times., it's football not a life and death situation.

Brin, some on here wanted him to fail from the start, which is utterly bizarre, same old sh*t about being "Too nice",and apparently he didn`t even support Rotherham because he used to play for Wednesday !
I think it actually worked against him being from Rotherham for some people for some reason,it happens with home grown players as well, you watch when young Douglass has a couple of poor games he`ll get slated worse than anyone,it`s happened many times in the past.
