Strange now he has gone, talk from those that wanted it will turn on the real reason for the past 3 years. The ones who loved evans probably.

Sacking hamshaw, like bringing in smith….great smokescreens….and COO only THINKS they made mistakes.

Or both issues can be true. TS is a problem and MH was incompetent. Idiot

I remember the council on record loaned 5m. No idea if it was paid back. Probably not as this council waste so much (not that is was a waste, just not getting it back)

Stewart actually only bought the club himself by paying off debts. Not all of the build was his money. And he did not finance it all.

However, that is not to decry or belittle what he provided. The problem has always been the running of the football side. Look at the seasons just prior to warne, the mess he inherited. Mirror image once again.

The fan base needs to wake up.

All managers buy some duds. As someone pointed out, his better ones didn’t play much. The 11 left by taylor and evans combined still here would not win much either.

OTM, don't forget the European grant which also if not vastly helped to build the NYS. Some fans think it was all TS' money that built it, it certainly was not.

ERDF Application: Reports from June 2011 confirmed that the 5 million pound loan from Rotherham Council to the club was to be linked with an application for European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funding.
Funding Structure: The 12,000-seat stadium, which cost approximately 17.3m–20m to build, was funded through a combination of the 5m council loan (linked to the ERDF application), private investment from club chairman Tony Stewart, and other sources.

I think most people that saw that MH wasn't a good football manager also see the bigger picture and the real issues at the club. Still with all those issues, i still believe that if MH was removed in December when he should have been and we had brought in an experienced manager that had the January window we would have had enough to stay up, however we will never know if that is right or not. Basically we are in a league of 5 with 8 games and 6 points behind it and we have to win that league, very very very unlikely.
Next season is the real worry, I think the the Stewarts will put us back where they found us, bottom part of of l2.

I was not aware of the actual specifics, other than the 5m council loan and from the remainder ST had a controlling amount input of 6.7m
So the cap was passed around a lot for the rest. Which would complicate a sale.
Which I assume if the club was sold and if the ground is linked to it, the others sources play a big part.
                      We have one complicated club.

All of which may need verification.
