      Seems a sensible thing to do, given Mr Stewart's age and probably his waning interest in being the owner.
      Whatever happens in the future he will always be our greatest ever owner in my opinion.

                  Spot on! The laws on inheritance tax change on April 1st so had TS waited until later to transfer all to his son, he would have been walloped with a loss of millions.

                    Inheritance tax will be the reason for ASD. Debt to equity could be a couple of things - cash flow (we cant afford the repayments), looking to borrow (s/t liability to a l/t liability) or looking to sell ASD/RUFC - very much doubt the latter
