  • Short Stay Car Parking at the NYS

Been down to the NYS today for Doncaster Rovers away fixture tickets.
Concession over 65 yrs cost 19 pounds,
    23 pounds normal adult 18 to 24
12 pounds for 14 yes to 17 yes
    U14's is 7 pounds
    Nothing for a carer.

Has we know 60 years age at NYS for
    concession.
Any way back to the thread.
Quite a few cars getting a ticket fine this morning, with not registering their cars.
Rotherham Council wardens doing the rounds, not a private firm.
So make sure you don't get caught out.

Wonder if the Millers get any money back in fines issued, in a part share with the council.

No. But they will get a share of the ticket money. Another nice little earner.

Why not, private car park, using council instead of a private firm.
Private firms collect fines for owners of land in car parking areas.

You are wrong old time Miller, the council collects 20 to 25 per cent of the fine the rest goes to the landowner.

ELK, you'd be amazed how many folk pay lip service to it when just nipping in to the club shop. Actually over heard someone say they wish the staff would hurry up as they hadn't put a ticket on and 30 minutes was nearly up!

I've personally told many who saunter on past without getting a ticket, and when I tell them its a ?60 fine, they soon double back. There's plenty of notification in the club shop making everyone aware to get a 'free' 30 minute ticket or face a fine. Each to their own I suppose.

Quite a few buying shirts in the shop on Thursday morning, some pre-ordered.
So 50 pounds for a shirt, plus 60 pounds for a parking fine, makes it a bad pay day.
A bit cheaper discount on shirt if a season ticket holder.
Warden was taking pictures of vehicles without a parking ticket, & issuing fines.
So the club has a good payday 45 pounds on parking fines [ After 25% council cut ] plus shirt money.
