Well I'll be there and I'm hoping the 5 people I sit with will also go to the game.
However I still think a lot of others won't go regardless of us having a new manager, because they see our situation as hopeless and are angry about the negligence of TS and his board.

Fair weather fans. I know some supporters who I guarantee go to more games than the ones having a go at them. They have chosen to stop going this season and the cheap shots from the usual suspects is nauseating and wrong.
You should be embarrassed with those comments.

BOTN, I wasn't having ago at anyone. How would you describe those that stay away who have a S/T but choose not to go because it's been a poor season from the top to the pitch side?

I think it's been a feckin god damn awful season but I'll still go because I want to shout and support my team on. Maybe I don't get those that choose to stay away and 'fair weather' was the wrong way to describe them. In times of dire needs
and that is happening now, the team need to hear us in supporting them and the more the merrier.

This has triggered you hasn't it. And why? You're as bad as your mate. Have a pint and chill out ffs. We're all Rotherham aren't we?

I don't know where the bottom is, but what I do know is that I'll follow the Millers and go to games whether we're playing in the Championship or the Northern Premier league. Others won't for their own reasons, that's fair enough. Whatever the case, it'd be nice to think that a good number of fans will turn up for the remaining games that we have, and get behind LC and the team.

I honestly can't remember a season where fans have been so divided.

I think the internet is partly to blame. Social media (this place included) brings out some very binary positions, and often people seem to end up on a side rather than in the middle.

I do think, however, the division points at one significant positive thing about our fan base. They care. A lot. Apathy would be far worse in a smallish fan base like ours, but what we see on here is a lot more passion whether people are planning to attend every game or sitting some out.

I disagree with many people on here about a number of things, and I think some people carry themselves pretty badly on here at times, but I do respect their passion and commitment. I think we'd be in a far worse place if there was more "Yeah, I suppose...." going on.

FWIW, I think we're pretty squarely f***ed, but I won't be missing a game, and I doubt I'll leave many with my voice intact.

Not triggered me because I’m not one of them. I do know proper supporters you know the ones who actually go and don’t just sit from afar and tell everyone they are wrong. Some have stopped going but have their reasons and I respect that just like I respect the ones still going. Calling people who are incredibly loyal fair weather is imo pathetic.
You keep having a dig at me or my mate as you call it. Easy to do that from a keyboard isn’t it?
You say you can’t honestly remember where fans have been so divided then contribute to the division.
Taking pot shots at individuals is hypocritical surely you can’ see that?
I’m happy to say it as it is but won’t then sit here asking why there’s division.

We'll know either way in the next few weeks. There is absolutely no point in speculating
