  • Game of the Century.

    3rd of May.
Millers legends on the pitch and the dig outs.
Only a tenner a ticket and all to a good cause.

But ticket sales are poor. Probably because going to NYS isn?t as much fun as it used to be.

Maybe RUFC should be concentrating on our remaining fixtures.
      " Match of the Century"?
Not much to cheer about at the moment.
They'd sell more tickets if we were playing in League One next season.

Billed as the finale of the celebration I believe. Bit like a wake really. Will probably give it a go with the grandson.

The game is a celebration of the club's history and nothing to do with the present team, management or even owner. A lot of old legends are making an effort to turn up, we should support them.
If it's too unbearable to be there after the failure of this season, then just send a tenner to the Hospice. It touches most people's lives eventually.

Just over 1000 sold which isn?t anywhere close enough to make any money for charity.
                    It will still go ahead.
The club have provided use of the stadium for free.

It will be nice to watch some legends after spending all season watching a bunch of bellends!

That?s a fair assessment. I can?t think of a single player that we have signed since Warne left that would potentially play in a legends game on 10-20 years time.

I know a number of people who have donated to the charity but will not give it to the club while TS is in charge. The empty seats that season ticket holders have vacated these last couple of months are showing their dissent.Having endured this horrible season in our centenary year, there is no wonder fans do not have the appetite for this.Without change at the top they will not be renewing their tickets.Ironically we were charged one of the highest in this league but have suffered the worst.

Well, I know you?ve had a bad season but surprised only 1000 tickets sokd. 4 of us going in corporate. Leeds, Sunderland, Spurs and 1 Miller fans.

Surely this is about having a good day and supporting a good cause, not trying to make a point which will be lost on TS
