  • O/T Breck's book

I’m probably years behind most of you but I’ve just finished reading John Breckin’s book “Breck”. I know it was co-written with the journalist Les Payne but the sheer honest-to-goodness down-to-earthness of Breck just shines through. And I learnt a lot of stuff about what goes on behind the scenes, in the office, on the coach, in training and on the pitch. I was surprised by some of the stories about one or two players and managers. But it wasn’t just in football that Breck shows himself to be a dedicated human being; he’s had to cope with some difficult personal stuff too. A really good read and I found it uplifting in these otherwise worrying times, for Rotherham and elsewhere. If you haven’t already done so, go on, buy it!

I was at Wingfield same year as him- I was kerap and he was outstanding .

Like many I got hooked when Docherty took over.

Hes an absolute legend - a word sometimes used too often but in his case 100% justified .

Have the book - I was twice reserve at school but that photo brings it all back

      A true gent 👏

Les Payne seems really jealous of Jeremy Clarkson's success.
