We have seen this season the worst ever manager and the worst ever team. Thanks MH and the incompetent board.

That's it then. We're down. All the fighting talk from Clark was just hot air. Three games. No goals. Time for him to resume his career in beer gut development. Can't really blame him for how we somehow managed to bring together an entire squad of no hopers. We need to do two things close season: get a great big broom and sweep this garbage out of our club (all of them, yes really), then beg Alex Revell (with money) to drop down a division.
Thanks for a great centenary Hamshaw

You can trace our demise back to the lack of investment in Paul Warne. Sitting 8th in the Championship, the Board should have done everything to retain him and give him the funds to strengthen the side for a play-off push. Since that time, we have gone backwards at a rapid pace, wasted money on incompetent coaches and players whose best days were way behind them. To be honest, the Board have got what they deserve and unfortunately, we, the poor, suffering supporters, have no alternative but to witness the sad decline of such a promising club. I fear for the future!

The board are the cause, after all they run the club, they make the decisions, they employ the executive management. They expect the glory when things go well so they should stand up and admit they got so much wrong now we are in a downward spiral that could get a lot worse. Regarding MH I would like to take you back to Swindon in the FA cup, that game and his decisions in that game showed us what was going to happen, it was said at the time by quite a few fans. However he is not the route cause of this shambles, Scott deserves a lot of blame, what a bunch of crap has he brought into the club. Those players tonight showed no desire, no passion and no pride they do not care if we come bottom and at the moment that is where we will end up. How the club manages the relegation, they way it communicates and what it says will be a big factor on whether I renew the families season tickets, at the moment I have no interest in watching those players play again this season it is the worst team I have seen in a long time.

Enough is enough. This club has had a terrible smell for the last three or four years.Unless we have new leaders at the top we will crumble even further.Fans will not be conned again after being charged one of highest renewal prices in this league. We have had no plan whatsoever at this club and the total lack of professionalism is coming home to roost. The managers we have had ,have been the cheapest on offer, who have not had jobs. The bottom line is nobody wants to come here because of TS's reputation of not backing the manager and not providing proper training facilities. If there is no change we are finished. The fans deserve much much much better.

I turned off after about 36 mins. That was the last thing I?ll watch from them this season.
I cannot see any glimmers of hope for next season in league 2. TS seems to have completely lost interest and the players are actually not very good at all. Passing is shocking, no movement, no creativity, can?t defend and no natural goal scorer. Oh, and can?t control the ball.

Another must win game not won. The goal should be watched for evermore with the Benny Hill soundtrack. It was like an outtake from Jossie's Giants.
Combine it with Nombe's incredible miss, and you're looking at what should have been a 1-0 win. Pity we didn't start playing til the 70th minute.
Barnsley up next, when was the last time be beat them at home?
Nice cameo from young Holmes though.

100% Timber .There is no ambition at the club under this stewardship. The fans have been misled for so many seasons, there is now a massive disgust in the way we have been abused.Originally posted by Timbertop View PostI'm done. Unless the club is sold (quickly) and the likes of Douglas and Scott are removed my season ticket, and that goes for many sat near me,will not be renewed.

Received a quick message from a York fan (ex work colleague) who was there tonight as he has family in Stoke. He was interested to see two potential L2 opponents should they go up. He was surprised at how poor both teams were, and thought we were the worst of the two. He said that, in all honesty, there wasnt one player in our side that he would swap for one of theirsOriginally posted by Jocksgloves1 View PostOh dea

The warning signs of decline were there in plain sight during January 2025 when the transfer window was open and Evans was supposed to have been in charge.
How many players of any significance did we bring into the club at that time?
None!!!!
Reason? No cash to splash. Evans was hamstrung. He was only ever able to operate with previous success at RUFC with cash at the ready and a phenomenal turnover of playing staff.
