No. Some were hoping to see the fabled 'new manager uplift', but clearly it hasn't happened.

Does that mean we should pay him off? Not sure, unless the board has been given assurance that there is someone with a better CV waiting in the wings.

Stop talking Bxxxoxxs, Ronnie, Brecks and Steve Evans said training ground was excellent ? Which managers you on about Redfearn, Stubbs, Docherty,Reg Freeman ? Give me the name of just “one” player that was “amazed” that the training ground is not up to what they had previously experienced ? At the end of the day we have NEVER had better training facilities ! Not sure why we have had so many injuries but one thing for certain it’s not the training ground !

With so few players under contract after this season, I think Clarke basically has to stay on. He knows what’s what now. He will have input on contract offers etc and may be already sounding out potential signings.but the point is he can start immediately on what needs to be done.

I feel that if we have to go through the process of recruiting another new manager and assistant before we can even think about players and tactics etc then the National League almost certainly beckons. It may still, who knows, but I really don’t think we can afford to be starting yet again.

Agree with what Lee Clark says the squad he's been left with in the main aren't robust enough. He's old school do we stick with that or twist with someone like Artell? I'm in favour of going with the latter.

Matt hamshaw couldn’t get a tune out of this group, it seems that Lee Clark can’t also.
I liked the straightforward honesty form Lee Clark in that interview after yesterday’s game.
I’m not for Changing manager again. Give him the tools to improve things.
                A lot of changes required.
                UTM.

Changing the manager would make sod all difference, if we've still got this ownership in charge.

Well said that man , I'm sick to death about hearing about the training ground , it's nonsense, there won't be many better training grounds in league one and league 2 . Where do you think Bromley train, Harrogate. Exeter Doncaster cantley Park... Northampton, Cambridge. Lincoln.. the list is endless .. they would love what we have a roundwood

Exeter and Lincoln both have new training grounds that are light years ahead of ours.

So do Bromley, Harrogate Cambridge. I wish when poster posted on here they do get their facts right before coming on being the big I am.I don’t post on here much now & this is one of the reasons.

This interview has to be the most open, honest, brutal assessment of what is wrong in the team we currently have. Lee holds nothing back and rolls it all out. Give it a listen to and then see what you think of what he had to say. Players who fall out of training because they are not up to it! WTF is that all about and who are these players? Well said that man.

He's been here two months and knows what is wrong, who definitely needs showing the door etc. He clearly has his ideas of what he wants Rotherham United to be. He knows all the players now so will be well aware what it will mean to establish a new team next season. Give him a go at it, his way, his choice of players, a brand new season for him to show how it should be done and what it takes to make this club successful once again.

Where did you pull that figure from?

He has been here a fraction over 3 weeks.

Basically all Clark has done is ssid what most fans have known to be the case for a long time.
You could say he's stated the bleedin' obvious!
What most people really want to know is what he's going to do about it if he's still here next season.
Talk is cheap, effective actions will be much harder.
                              Time will tell.

I agree with what Clark says on the interview. Players have to do extra to make sure they are at top physical strength. Look at Ronaldo. I?m not saying they will ever be as good as him but surely they aspire to be the best in league one or league two. Do some work on your leg muscles lads. You don?t have to be on the training ground to do it. Do it at home, in your garage.

I don?t know whether Lee Clark will be doing the job next season but I think he is fighting a losing battle with the players that all the previous managers have brought in.
